QUOTE(limeuu @ Feb 7 2010, 08:59 AM) anyone can be justifiably proud of one's own personal achievements....... limeuu, however in the case of the warped msian education system, one will be wise to be circumspect about the 'achievements' one thinks one has achieved....... because a honest person will always wonders if he achieved really on merit, or because of some official policies........... one should realise that matrik 3.9 is roughly equivalent to stpm 3.5 by most estimates........ and one would be somewhat ashamed to be in an apartheid educational establishment.........and rather keep quiet about it....... I've read a few of your posts in other threads and I know you hate UiTM with all your guts. I'm a student in UiTM but when I was applying for UPU I was reluctant to choose UiTM because I wanted to study in a place where all the races are present due to the fact that I grew up studying in that environment.UiTM was my last choice and I got it..I was disappointed at first because I have gotten an offer to study something I didn't really like in a university I had disapproved of. However, I accepted the offer as it was a good opportunity for me. I just want to say that do not let this issue further divide the racial gap in our country. I acknowledge the fact that it is unfair for the other races to be excluded from entering UiTM but some things are out of our control. This doesn't mean that ALL the people who study in UiTM are racist, lazy and lacking brain cells. You are fueling the fire which can tarnish the ties between the races in Malaysia. If you are against racism, please do not play the race card. QUOTE(defdekz @ May 16 2010, 02:23 AM) Yeah, that's the sole purpose of UiTM and I am thankful that I've gotten a place to study there. I just detest people who make this a big racial issue and those who undermine the capabilities of UiTM students. This post has been edited by Cactuar: May 16 2010, 02:30 AM |

Yes, it helps rural people. You chose to go to a private uni ? but UiTM is a lot cheaper.haha.The rules aren' too strict though.Btw, sometimes private universities have too much freedom but I guess you would have to learn how to control and discipline yourself ^^ |
