Is it true that the loan lawyer does not have access to the bank manager? I was asking my lawyer if they can give me the bank's contact and the banker's name, but they are only able to provide me the general loan operations line and my reference number. Then, the lawyer says that they have no access to deal with a banker directly. And, when the cheque is ready or any additional documents needed, the bank will contact them directly. In other words, the lawyer cannot follow up thoroughly for the drawdown.

Is this true? blink.gif

aiyor.. leongal... im think you need to pay interest already, cannot escape.

since now cny somemore... everyone no mood and slow :@:@:@:@

for my case i call bank, complaint and ask for manager. so my disbursement was quite fast. but then it took 1 week for them to collect the cheque. lol.

for bank contact, i think offer letter got. then ask for manager if you are really angry/furious.

if lawyer/bank slow..no need pay la..cos in most cases, lawyers are the culprit.
mine 4 months+ they never ask for interest/payment also.

bank lawyer sent advice to HLBB:18th January 2010

is this consider slow?

if lawyer/bank slow..no need pay la..cos in most cases, lawyers are the culprit.
mine 4 months+ they never ask for interest/payment also.

i not really care so much on interest, but i am worried about getting it done, because i will go ROOFLESS if not done by end March sad.gif

Whomever service your loan, contact them.
The sales person who sold you the loan, you're suppose to follow up with them closely. They are in the service industry.

It is true that after sending your documents to their credit department the marketing officer can't really do much.
BUT it is also part of their job to offer their service to you. They CAN actually call the operation department on your behalf and check the exact status and also push for it.

Call the lawyer NOT THEIR CLERK, screw them up. Tell them 'dont worry, take your own sweet time. Any delay and penalty incur will be on your cost and I will file a complain' something like that.

Also, lawyers have their gant chart or something like that to keep track of the case status. They should know exactly when the documents are stamped, when it is passed back to the bank, when the bank gives them replies etc. From that chart, it is easy to know whose fault it is (but normally, no one will admit their mistake)

In short, give them pressure, screw them nicely (both lawyers, the bank marketing officer, his manager, operation side as well)
