QUOTE(nixonyang @ May 31 2010, 11:52 PM)
i never rejected the fact that SG sleeping on our palm is the sign of successful bonding. rclxms.gif  . Well, now only i knew that SG is like baby. WHen they are awake in the middle of the night, you are oblige to wake up and pujuk them to sleep. shocking.gif
*
QUOTE(veryniub @ Jun 1 2010, 12:15 AM)
@nixon

sg are nocturnal animals, they are more active in the night compared to morning, so i dun think u havto pujuk yrs to sleep when they wake up at night..
*
joeys they will play and then go back to sleep for a nap after a few hours..same with todlers also need more sleep compare to adults

QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jun 1 2010, 02:36 AM)
Thanks yueyi for the pics.

Gliders are normally active at night, but I have met a few people with gliders that follow their sleeping pattern. They sleep at night and play during the day. Weird....

Now I got 1 glider which is super inactive. Doesn't wanna move much, just wanna sit on my lap or shoulder to chill out. Not sick, just overweight so it's lazy hahahah..... can view my blog to see her pictures. Darn cute but I worry bout her health since she is 140g. Too heavy.
*
Tyler will grow up to be a very handsome boy..he's alright with both my males now especially Tobi who I suspect to be the dominant male..

QUOTE(echosmiles @ Jun 1 2010, 10:24 AM)
One more thing to mention...not only Jojo sleep on my palm...but also she purrs like a kitten... then last nite she did this one sound don't know what issit she wants....like  "ngeep ngeep ngeep".

{o_O}
*
puring normally is very soft cant really hear..ngeep ngeep sounds like barking to me...it's sumthing like puppy bark..probably calling for attention...Tyler use to bark to call out his family but now he's ok after bonding with the other glider

Aiyo...."ngeep ngeep ngeep" means calling for attention...means she calling for her family. sad.gif She home sick?

Funny things is when i came to her attention she stop "ngeeping" and started asking for treats. smile.gif

Anyway, I must confess yesterday I only spent 30 minutes with her cuz i was too tired and accidentally fallen asleep. LOL...and she woke me up with the "ngeeping"

My bad.
*
she's probably calling for u..lol..wants u to play with her or keep her company...my tobi will bark when he sense danger(startled) and all the other glider will stun at the spot or run to take cover..i was like whoaaaaaa!!!...make sure u dont fall asleep with her roaming about...always free roam under supervision only..if your too sleepy put her back into the cage

I'm feeding Jojo with mealworms as treats...is it ok to give ALOT ?!
*
the amount since you are feeding slurp i 7-8 medium mealworm is fine...but i normally alternate my treats...mealworm/yogurt drop/dubia/crickets(sometimes)/tuttifruity/appleberry
i alternate 2 for each day

using poison to kill roaches?

hurmm

but what happen when others insect or the roaches itself got poison at their body then go to the cage?then glider kill the roaches or eat them will that put the glider to danger situation?
*
good point..i dont know how fast acting is the poison or is it a repellent? it says umpan so i guess it's poison they eat and die.hmmm...wat other way...the house one is a cockroach trap maybe tat is better...the cockroach will get trap inside the houce coz of the sticky paper inside...so only use when gliders are in the cage

why is my suggie keep scratching her body? mites? fleas?
*
scratching with the hind legs?does it lick lick then scratch..most probably it is grooming itself..but if u see the fur condition worsen or mites running on the fur(hard to see) straight to vet ya...

QUOTE(jolenelarhhs @ Jun 3 2010, 08:11 PM)
Urghhh.. Reminds me of something ):
There was once a cockroach fell on my forehead while I was just getting to bed cause my air con was right above my bed! And so ngam I just off the lights and lie there D: At first I thought it was something from the air con, but it felt cold n wet. Couldn't be water though, cause I touched my forehead and it wasn't wet. Then I tried looking for the 'item' in the dark, feeling around the bed. I grabbed something and realize it was squishy and had legs! It wasn't hard like an item that breaks off from an air con O: Then I threw it to the side immediately [There's a wall there by my bed. I think it hit the wall] I quickly went to wash my hands and came back to on the lights. Then I saw a broken cockroach leg on the bed near the wall. @___@ Can't find the roach though. D: Then for the past few days I find baby cockroaches on my pillow and bed sometimes ! @___@ Yuck.

Good thing I haven't gotten my gliders that time tongue.gif Hehehe. Who knows what'll happen if one sneaks into the glider cage O:
*
ewwww...so u got phobia because of that?i takut cicak..but i just killed one just now it was behind my gliders cage tongue.gif
so any other suggestion to get rid of them?
