i remember reading somewhere, for VTEC engines... while it CAN use lower octane fuel, it is NOT the RECOMMENDED octane for the engine.

for our engines, i wonder if there is also a recommended octane to use? perhaps its RON96 tongue.gif

when u say cant use for long, do u mean
- cannot use for long distance? or
- cannot keep this tyre in the car boot for long time?
looking at the picture, these tyres need pump air or not?
seller say pcd100 with 15" size... tempted la.
coz its lightweight rite?

One of the cons is you can' speed with those tyres, around 60km/h only

yes yes.. max speed 60kmh, no hard turning. temporary use only. somemore, if it is your front tyre burst, then it's better dun use this at front. instead, swap the rear (good one) to the front, then use the this spare tyres at the rear. this is because our car front is very heavy.

actually hor, my spare tire is still the stock metal rims, 13" with high profile stock tyres. and the worst part is, it is a re-threaded tyre. i'm using it coz i dont have any other tyres as spares. currently using different tyre sizes liao. what about u guys?

Knocking? Need to increase fuel to air ratio or reduce ignition timing.
