 surge protector for home theater, is it important in home theater set up?

most of avr will consist of surge protector feature if mistaken.... pls correct me if majority in market now of avr are not....
most of user will assume generally: surge protector the the first level of protection.
if you need further, will be follow by avr and lastly UPS as UPS also consist of AVR function....

the comparison of RM81 & RM239 are in wrong category. as they're taking cheap avr compare to expensive surge protector.
there is also have very expensive avr for home theater. avr for pc of course is cheaper. Cal-Lab are cheaper surge...
but personally using 1, dissatisfied with product and service support. I won't try any next Cal-Lab anymore....

I'm not convenient with their T&C. need to pay for RM25 if want to claim warranty 1-to1 exchange.
and the support specialist are not friendly too, or maybe said that their writing skill not politely....
