 Region Free - BD player

Need advice from the experts here, which player is region free?

I am using pana BD-60 (region A) at the moment and have problem playing those BD I got from China. mad.gif

Hope u guys can help ......thinking of getting another player, budget less than 1k. smile.gif

so far the region free BD player available that I knew of :-

Oppo BD-83 (need hardware heck)
Cambridge Audio Azur 650BD (need hardware heck)
HDI Dune BD Prime (with software heck)
Moritsu Player (HK made)

Pls add if you knew other players

What about ROM , they are Bluray ROM players as well right? Mine plays any kind of region...depending on the software eventually..

Its 'hack'..

N it means to mod by sum form of electronics..

I dunno abt d rest but de oppo bdp83 sold by slt, sg provides a full warranty wif their hardware hack..
I heard tat even Pioneer bdps too can be hardware hacked n its exp( ard usd100+) plus not too mention voidin existin warranty..

if it bothers u .. tat is

Any Free software can recommend to play original bluray? Try powerDVD 7 can not play, downloard power DVD 9 trial version play OK but only for 30 days trial....
What software u use?

PowerDVD for Bluray 9.0230 "ahem" version..should work for you better since the trial has been limited..

oppo 83 can be software hacked or hardware hacked.

software hack is NOT recommended because you lose the ability to upload oppo's latest firmwares.

hardware hack can be installed ownself. Not difficult at all. In fact it's a piece of cake. smile.gif

My brother bought Sony BDP-S360 for RM700 brand new with extended warranty.. i dont know where he got the hole from..

Software hack after installing the last 2 official firmware will not work anymore as they have implemented signed software to ensure someone does not brick their set.

Hardware hack is the way to go.
