A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.
In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi Private High School shortly after it was attacked by "them." The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.

I doubt you could really reproduce INAZUMA's artwork in animation so cleanly. Oh well, manga ada lagi lol. Nice to see competent soldiers and people who aren't being stupid about infection in a zombie tale.
The manga is not stalled. Unless if you consider those scanlators doing their stuffs late as having some hiatus.
No, the manga itself was stalled for nearly a year and just recently continued. The scanlators were twiddling their fingers and raging at the author's hiatus because the mangaka went on to draw h-doujins (coughDigitalAccelWorkscough....) and other mangas in the meantime. The author is known to let various projects idle.

Man, I actually don't mind the mangaka's transition from making HotD to H-doujins(it's really good fapping material) for the while. However, he should have made an announcement or a cliffhanger part for the manga to enter a hiatus beforehand.
I'm really looking forward to continuing the manga, and watching the anime version. It's just like L4D, but with more and better boobs. Well, at least there any sort of special infected/ dead zombies yet.
this anime makes me sick...but those girls being eaten(feels like being raped), violent scene... not really my taste...too violence too ero...

Watched the anime few days ago shortly after it's released. I laughed so hard at those zombies. although there are too little too many panty shots and stuff. but it's okay. can't wait for the next episode

Because Saeko has hidden dark habit of actually beating people. The outbreak is her opportunity to beat some real human. If you realize in second episode, she was smiling when killing that guy at medic room.

Though is probably not good but if you have a killer-machine with hot body like that breaking down on you in a shrine, will you do it any differently? Hehehehe... The seventh volume of Daisuke Satō and Shoji Sato's Highschool of the Dead manga will ship next spring in a limited edition with an original anime Blu-ray Disc. The Blu-ray Disc will include the side story "Drifters of the Dead" and will run about 20 minutes long. The Blu-ray Disc edition will be limited to pre-orders only, which will be taken until February 10, 2011.

I dun remember the temple scene being in the manga...correct me if I'm wrong. HOTD manga is good but the anime did not do justice to it...sigh
in the manga when the mother came after the bewb faster than bullet event, everyone came with her there are no saeko and takashi trying to distract zombie scene in the manga in the manga, what happen between saeko and the takagi happenned after saeko receive the katana from Saya's father the buggy is given by the mechanic in Saya's house in the manga while in the anime they stole it from a shop
