hey guys. found out something interesting.. remember me post about asking for a 8-cell battery for the S57 ? our batteries are all 6-cells right? well i emailed BenQ and guess what they told me.

Dear Kenny,

Hi Kenny,

The original battery pack (14.8V, 4.4Ahr, P/N: 2C.20E04.001) is already an 8cells battery.

rgds.
----

I'm curious.. i checked and my battery is 11.1V instead of 14.8V and i have the P/N of 2C.20E04.011 which is different. Is mine 6 cell or 8 cell? :S I'm pretty sure it's not 8 cell.

Thanks smile.gif

Hi Kenny,

Strange, I can't find the battery P/N info that you given.I have cross check with other set at our service center & it comes with the battery P/N that Imentioned earlier. I think, most likely your battery type is from 6cells. Perhaps S57 package comes in 2 type of battery, i.e 6cells& 8cells.

If you wish to purchase the 8cells battery, pls make sure that you are using the information that I provided earlier. You can contact our customer care toll free at 1800-88-BenQ(2367) during normal office hourfor further assistance.

rgds.

I'm gonna try calling them up and see what's the price.

yeah i rarely use my laptop speaker. i have Philips SHP1900 and Klipsch Custom 1 for headphones. tongue.gif

btw i know some laptops have mini woofers built in right. will it even last? haha

edit: btw, my GPU temp shot up to 101C max on Dirt2. o.O

@bushido
Try adjusting your setting...what codec are you using?? Shouldn't be a problem nod.gif

well i re-adjusted my video card settings and now VLC turned out as normal again. but when it plays my video on VLC, it changes my win7 theme to normal instead of aero. and when i exit VLC, it goes back to aero. haha. incompatible ?
