its near the exhaust, beside battery...

The exhaust is facing outward, not downward. Correct me if I am wrong

u can upgrade HDD as and when u wish... the sticker is only for the HDD... peeling it off only voids the warranty of the HDD, not the laptop...
*
Ok. But still 320gb is manageable by me, got backup of 1TB external

QUOTE(highwind85 @ Feb 6 2010, 01:21 PM)
I used to do that too...for my previous lappy...simply can resist gaming and surfing net on the bed...lol...try put sumthing to lift up the bottom of your laptop..that should allow the air going thru the air vents..
*
What about on the table?

QUOTE(astria @ Feb 6 2010, 03:15 PM)
yup, that's wat i am talking abt...

no fan/// juz sth for u to put ur laptop so that the cushion/pillow/blanket/etc would not block the holes...
*

@lee: lol, get those PC casing 5k RPM fan and stuff it into the cooling pad..lol, the air that blows in probably even stronger then the heatsink fan can pull..but ya, noisy la...

@monza: you mean idle temp or what? idle temp right now remain 60-61 like that...i really like this one, unlike my previous..prolly cos this one can adjust the fan position, hence the air that blows in cools my laptop more efficiently la
*
After buying the fan, then how to add? The wiring plug to where?

I just RMA my belkin laptop cooler. 1-to-1 change. Nice!

Go back and test it out.

Added on February 9, 2010, 5:23 pmSeems like the USB cable is stick on the cooler, no longer a separate cable anymore

din say anyhin on dell website.. check liaw >.<

Dell is international warranty. All you need to do is update your particular details and product. So they could track your location.

Else, just call them and give them your address. That's all.

Dell service so far is the best. I no need to call them, online chat with them and next day I can see their engineer at my front door already

1, 2, 3 years, all are international warranty.

Transfer details when you are at another country only.

Went back hometown and play l4d2 with cooler (air-con room), max temp is only 83-87c. Great! Air-con do contribute a lot

With non-air-con, it would 92-93c.
