[off_topic]Hero is nice, but better that u wait for the new ones... iirc should be Incredible... using Android 2.1 and downcloked Snapdragon (700+MHz instead of 1GHz, they should kenna another sue from Apple soon laugh.gif... Hero is only 500+MHz, but still speedy enough, hope Android 2.1 is better optimized, but now with 1.5 is still speedy) with massive internal memory (no need for microSD card)...[/off_topic]

QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Mar 23 2010, 12:20 PM)
new one to expensive la...
why downclock snapdragon?
i saw acer neotouch run at 1ghz...siao one...
*
HTC downcloked it so as to save on power consumption...

+ Incredible has a jucier battery than Nexus One and Hero...

so overall it has better battery life than the others in the market... nod.gif

well, i would prefer Android since WinMo and Symbian is really boring, and iPhone is too common...

Hero is still a good buy if u dun mind the older spec since it's going to be updated starting from next mth...

oh, and pls spare my poor little netbook as ur userbar is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long... laugh.gif

well, the GPS + Google Map combo on my Hero works pretty well too...

on pretty open space in Singapore (like carpark of an apartment estate), it reports "Accurate up to 6m" at best performance... at worst it's 30m...

doesn't seem to be the case in Aus though... it seems to ve some difficulty looking for the satellites...
