OMG ! my s42 has a problem. When i plug in the AC to charge the battery , the window display the battery remain 26 % but window did not charge the battery !!!! I has tried to on the laptop by battery only...but it is unable open ~ It seem my battery was dead ... T_T.
I think my battery still on the period of warranty ?! Where the Service center of benQ ? What i need to bring to there?

The Service center had been University Station(PUTRA LRT) and i only need to bring my battery to exchange ? how about my warranty code ? or warranty card?
*
Just bring over your battery to the SC, they will check by manufacture date, or for a safe trade better bring your receipt nod.gif...battery is under warranty...

Your battery not charging, i think its could be the mobo problem hmm.gif..some also got this problem before this nod.gif

huh~
bcoz normally is N router or g+ router ^.^
you think it's enough for that ??
*
Well, i got one N router and another is N1...N1 gives you the largest/widest range, which can reached almost 500 meter (this is for an open space)..with buildings & concretes all around, can at least be 300M (well depends though tongue.gif)...maybe you can opt to N1 wireless router...

Added on February 7, 2010, 5:13 pmWell, just for your information..my N1 Belkin router signal can get to one area of housing of 6 semi-d houses which one each are around 20M range nod.gif

i see ... 6 house in diameter.
i just hv g modem router ~.~
so how is the repeater ?? hard to get this one. repeater is used to strengthen the wireless signal from the access point. i heard it's illegal ~~

how is that person battery problem ? Better go to check battery setting before sending to service center ~
*
how come a repeater is illegal sweat.gif..who ever told you that sweat.gif..well, you can also use a normal switch to be a repeater, which work like this :

Your Modem/Router > Switch (8 ports) > Wireless AP...this way, the connection won't lose any signal nod.gif

switch (8ports) ?? using lan one ??
AP ??
i heard there is one repeater used to generate the target router acess point signal and strengthen up the signal for you either direct to lan or regenerate a stronger wireless signal o~
*
AP = Access Point
Switch, go goggle it laugh.gif

Well, that repeater is quite expensive and again, its not ILLEGAL to use it nod.gif...but my configuration would be cheaper than for you to use that repeater nod.gif

not really understand with switch >.<'''
it's something to do with LAN + manage each lan speed ?? so it's still need cable lo ~
*
Yup, cable would be a good choice as Wireless sometime the signal can be down and all nod.gif..with cable you won't face this kinda problem...
