QUOTE(khsj @ Jun 23 2010, 02:41 PM) guys need ur help my heli controller throttle stick broke..u know lah those cheaps china made parts...anywhere I can get a controller. I'm in Penang but so far not able to find any shops selling a controller. It's kinda wasted to throw away the whole heli when I can just get a new controller... what kind of heli is that, what kind of controller is that? IR or RF one? those toy-grade rc heli hard to find spare parts. Better use your super glue to repair ....

I have 1 IR controller which I don't need it anymore (because the heli cannot fly anymore) but I believe if the heli model is not the same you can't use that also. If possible, post me a photo of your heli, if matched then we can discuss further for delivery. I am from Penang as well.

I guess you might see 2 rotor disc (blade tracking out) when you are flying with negative pitch at max throttle. Hmmm, I was told that this could introduce vibration a lot. Hehehehhe, you requested my BCPV2 hovering video before, there you are ..... Belt CP V2 HoveringFeel free to give your comment This post has been edited by daddoo: Jun 24 2010, 07:21 PM

I think the controller I have cannot be used for your case.

Maybe you can contact hobby shop. I found that ehirobo is selling this heli but you may want to check with them. And also importing a transmitter from oversea could bring you a little problem to settle.
By the way, your heli looks big, 540mm rotor diameter. How long it can fly from a full charge?

Slapshock, I remember you said you over-drain your turnigy battery down to 9.9v before. How is your battery now? still performing as usual?
Hehehehe, this morning testing testing too syok, my battery voltage was about that voltage too .... a bit worry it will impact it a lot

Have you guys heard vibrations will harm your receiver (Rx) as well? Too bad that the receiver bay in BCP a bit narrow for 2801rx, I have to use a plastic card to extend more area and put the rx closer to the tail boom.
There will be more vibrations at the extended area as there is no support from the body frame.

sideway not an ideal place to me ... cos expose the wire-connector a lot ...... therefore I decided to extend the bay with an old credit card ... This post has been edited by daddoo: Jun 28 2010, 11:08 PM

Heheheheh, the setup now is done half way through, hopefully can test flight this weekend with the new radio system.
One thing I found nice with a programmable radio is you can adjust the swash leveling using software (subtrim). If the stock radio I would have to tweak here and there mechanically already .......
I am a bit worry with walkera's radio system as last night I have seen one abnormality. My initialization after power up seem wrong with one of the cyclic servo initialized to a wrong position. The angle was not 90 degree but instead it has been initialized to 40 degree. Reinitialize again everytime also work fine.

Size, weight, performance, material, quality .... all these factors contribute to the build up cost. I am not sure what's the difference between them but again, I believe what you pay is what you get. You said this before mah But sometimes, it is because the seller make it pricey also ..... Is there any function in the Tx to widen the angle of the servo horn? My cyclic servos can only move +/- 25 degree and resulting a small pitch range which is around 7 degree only. Tried to adjust the swashmix to higher but ended up with binding .....

The term in the radio? Also "end point"? I think I have not seen this before in my 2801pro

Hmmmm, I think I have a way to find out this "end point" from my Tx. It would be a trial and error by changing the percentage of each function, while I pushing my cyclic stick all the way up to one side. Time consuming and tedious task But then if I do this and I found buzzing (binding) from servo? Does that means my servo has reached its limit? Did you approach the seller and ask for help? I have a few email to them before and they are quite responsive. You might want to check with them as you purchased from them.

I might give it a try as well, I think my ESky stock gyro is faulty. Started the hovering with a nice tail lock but within a minute the tail will start to drift.
It may be the tail servo problem too so I think I will order both together, since you are using HK401B gyro can you let me know what tail servo you are using with your gyro?
