Dear all,
I've been planning to get a car. But as a foreign student, I'm wondering if it's possible, since buying car may involve applying for some loan.
Would a kind soul please share knowledge about this with me? That would very much be appreciated.
Thank you.

you will have to pay by cash.. unless you have enough money cash up front for a new car, your only options are cheaper used cars..

They provide 50% loans for foreigners. Sometimes you need a guarantor, sometimes you don't. And the guarantor doesn't have to be a Malaysian. Although if you can get a Malaysian guarantor, you can get a loan upto 75%. I'm talking from my personal experience btw.

I think you need a local guarantor and with low margin of finance.

Hmm, if I cant apply loan by myself (since i dont think i can have a malaysian as guarantor), then I have no choice but to opt for cheaper cars.
Thanks to all that replied.
