You can definitely purchase a new car with a loan from Maybank. They provide 50% loans for foreigners. Sometimes you need a guarantor, sometimes you don't. And the guarantor doesn't have to be a Malaysian. Although if you can get a Malaysian guarantor, you can get a loan upto 75%. I'm talking from my personal experience btw.
