Thanks. I've also checked Blackberry OS. There are so many versions, which should I download? I want the official version. Scared to use leaked version la.

dont worry, leaked version is the same with official version. leak is from RIM itself, while official version from telco. any official version come from leak version. Leaked version is not a beta version as u tought.

in the end, i upped the .592 and mod it using shrink-a-os.

every increment in version means better than previous (usually) regarding asia version, i think the different only the language pack.

do we need to do this once new OS loaded

Not necessarily after installing new OS. When you used or leave ur phone on for long hours and notice a lack of performance you can do that like once every week or so. It will make ur BB runs faster is like a reset. It works for my BB.

i juz flashed version .593 for my blackberry bold 9700.

i notice that my notification light (blinking red light) does not stay on until msg i read. notice that it goes off after awhile vmad.gif . is anyone experiencing this problem ?

With my BB Bold 9000 upgrade to .681, my facebook doesn't notify me on updates anymore. Anyone having the same problem?
