Hi guys...i thought IRON MAN 2 series was over till i saw these at Parkson. War Machine now comes with missile pack and light up chest while the Hammer Drone reminds me of the unit Anton Vadko used to beat the crap out of IM Mk 6 and WM.





I am also waiting eagerly for new MArvel Universe figures. Lately Hasbro only seem to focus on NERF products.

Got these two from Subang Parade Parkson at LG toyfair. Unfortunately only one of each figure were found while the rest dun appeal to me. There is another war machine but unofficial colors not suite my taste.

Wish i was working near KLCC, i heard loads of Hasbro goodies hit the shelves there frequently.

TRU at Tropiciana City and IKANO last evening received THOR stocks but their managers claim not ready for sale yet.

Im getting silver samurai / wolverine cuz that is the first wolverine comic book i purchased way back in 1988. The Mind Shop does bring back nostalgic memories.

Thanks for the update darkshadow. I believe we wish the new comic packs would be offered at Rm 20...but that was clearance. There is a new Japanese animation for Wolverine and featured Omega REd. Hope Hasbro create this figure. One of my favourite.

Most Parkson i went had their comic packs at RM 19.90...staff even claim no problem in pricing. Anyway it was our gain.

OMEGA RED, Mr Sinister, ...all must need 3.75 treatment. And X-Babes too... Jean Grey da ada, now need Psylocke, Jubilee, Rogue, Polaris etc.

That Venom i still have not found it on my own. Must tell your TRU manager not to label "PAID" on the card, in future paste it on the plastic cover instead. Easier to remove and avoid tearin the card.

TRU KLCC new outlet have two (2) new VEnom as posted by bro darkshadow...but price labelled at RM 49.90!!! I asked staff to recheck and they confrm its da price. I ask him to go cashier counter to counter scan but say cannot do so. There were two malay managers but those ladies are rude to check. LOWEST PRICE in town my a$$...if i want to I can go PArkson nearby with them to reconfirm...probably make an official complaint to TRU US HQ.

THOR figures selling at RM 39.90....but spiderman figures at RM 49.90?

If any of you guys want that Venom, can go check the Hasbro section out at TRU KLCC...they are stil there as of 4pm yesterday.

I doubt they mark up just wrong price tag for all spiderman figures. I just wanted to clarify before i go pay...dun want later make big commotion at cashier counter. Hasbro guys like Wan and Nasir are also there but more like standup comedians. No fruitful assistance at all.

MU figures at Parkson and Isetan KLCC still plentiful da same.

I thought with new TRU KLCC reopening to new outlet there would be new Marvel Universe figures but sadly only Thor, Iron man 2 leftovers (which Parkson is offloading at Rm 15 ea) and errorousnly priced Spiderman figures are spotted on the pegs. This morning i found these two lovely ladies at Parkson Ria winking at me to buy em.

Bro kerberos was right, infinity gems does come into reach as we explore deeper into uncharted universe.



Dark Avengers almost complete.

I only have Iron Patriot, Dark Spiderman and Dark Wolverine to date. Got em cuz they look so cool but avoided Dark Hawkeye cuz i dun like his hamsap smile on his face sculpted by Hasbro. Furthermore Ms. Marvel (both versions) are nearly almost utterly impossible to find in Klang Valley.

I found these babes at Parkson Ria somewhere northern region. I drove past for few days only on my last day yesterday that I decided to park and go in have a look. The figures were hung mixed together with Iron man 2 and spidey series...if i hadnt flip thru the pegs surely missed.

So what other characters to make up the Dark Avenger?. And i heard X-Men Wolverine in yellow outfit (w/o mask) have a new head sculpt. Is it?

Yup..Dark Hawkeye aka Bulleye in disguise manyak hamsap with Moonstone. Now Dark Hawkeye also not found in retail nor toyshops. Sentry w Spiderman comic pack spotted a few times at slashed down price at Parkson but i also pass...hiya.

Looks like my quest is not complete and i may have to visit another region to find them.

Current MU figures i have are:

Thanos, Doom, Juggernaut, Magneto, Spiderman, Cap America, Iron Man (modular & extremis), Green Hulk but awaiting Psylocke, Shuma Gorath, BlackHeart to complete Capcom Marvel SuperHeroes game.

Other misc MU figures would be Ghost Rider, Mystique, Colossus, iron Spiderman and Spiderman 2099.

Back then i never foresee that Marvel would one day create the Dark Avengers, but MU figures are also popularily sought after then. I also saw Blade and Iron Fist which my other collector pals are claiming popular..in matter fact all figures in Series 1 are hot.

From now buy 1st reconsider to offload later.

Bring out the Vipers to take on the Appleseed team!!

Briareos figure got extra from sealed case but I contemplate whether to buy from toyshop...now regret.

Has the ML 6inch 2-pack hit our shelves yet? I have not seen them at my local TRU le.

If i remember correctly, TRU Malaysia is managed by Li Fung, a HK based corporate group. But main boss of TRU is based in US.

Any Hasbro or Mattel item self-brought in by Li Fung to TRU Malaysia stores will have independant pricing.

Most of the local Hasbro toys prices are determined by Hasbro Msia themselves. I think Hasbro did market survey and noted that if collectors willing to pay higher price for their toys in 2nd market, they too want to profit from higher retail price.

Rm 44.90 for a 3.75 inch figure is too much. That is the price for 6inch Spiderman figures currently.

Mattel offering GL and other upcoming DCU figures at RM 99.90...no wonder many collectors move on to 12inch collectibles. At recent warehouse sale, DCU were disposed at RM 15 each only.

Price of toys will still be high if there is demand for it regardless whether economy is doing better than US.

Previously DCU figures were RM79.90 now RM 99.90..refrain from buying 6 pcs to build a bigger figure and we can get Hot Toys.

Hasbro and Mattel are trying to profit from us cuz they know that toys are no longer for kids but for big boys with loaded wallet.

Marvel figures by ToyBiz was only RM 29.90 when i first saw them at TRU in 2005. After Marvel action figure rights acquired by Hasbro, 6 inch was retailing RM 39.90 only. NOw its the price for 3.75 inch hasbro MU figures.

Lately Hasbro also dun offer any MU 3.75 inch figures to my local TRU. Every week NERF NERF NERF only. SIen..

I spotted DDx2, SSx2, Skaarx2, DSx2, Falconx2 but Gladiator and APO x1. I thought this wave have Cyclops but apparently doubles for some characters. Just like SW figures, all 3.75 inch fr Hasbro also gone up price.

I thought someone has bought the rest until I went back and checked online stores' assortment. Since Hasbro missed Wave 13, what is the likelyhood they would bring in Wave 14 rev 1?

TRU Ikano selling at RM 43.90, as of Sat, i saw only Doc Strange, Doom, Ben Spidey and Gladiator on the pegs. And I think only a case arrived here.

Darkshadow is lucky to find those MUs at RM 39.90? If the staff take to scan which turns out to be RM 43.90 and they want you to pay the new price while the old price tag is there, how to go abt it?
