To share is to care. It was my off day yesterday so went KLCC shopping. KLCC no longer my hunting spot as I have moved to Subang.

Coincidently I took those pics and posted to compare with other bros' sightings report. Verification & validation before one decide to go on a wild goose chase. flex.gif

Maybe new wave did arrive and ALL flew off fast OR the Hasbro agent have not displayed them. whistling.gif

It was a BULL's EYE! This fella name's ABANG WAN...quite notorious as he used to reserve for ppl until BUSTED by Hasbro spies. Lost a year bonus but i guess he has no where else to go hence have to stay back at Hasbro. I was wearin my Mr. POTATO mask so he couldnt recognise me.. laugh.gif

Oh yea badass!

Uhhh... seems like Hasbro is a no-no? Toyshop then! XD
*
I heard from two of my buddies (who are interested in toys) who went for interviews. Pays quite low. Everyday shit from superiors, deliver stocks to toyshops also get shit. Why? Cuz Hasbro Msia frequently delivers other toys which the shops didnt order. biggrin.gif

Travelling allowance very low. Have to go display stocks often. Kids make a mess of the shelves, TRU or Parkson complain...Hasbro staff kena. doh.gif

But you can still try to get working and real life experiance. The world doesnt work like what we read in the books. blush.gif

OT...
Not sure of the amount of screen time Bruce (as Joe Colton ,the original G.I. Joe) gets in the movie .
*
Maybe just a few minutes like Sgt Stone (Brendan Fraser) in 1st movie...or Expendables where BW appeared for a while. He needs to give more screen time to da ROCK!!

Isetan KLCC used to have some JOes POC series but now removed. Have to source from toyshops or ebay.

But there are some remnants of the single carded NEW MUs on the pegs, rite? Is the Hasbro prmoter still there? Or else good luck in getting Mr. Skinner to help you.

Actually when I first saw Mr. Sinister in the Uncanny X-Men comics (during the Inferno saga), I thought he was Colossus. Both of them lookalike..excellently drawn by Marc Silvestri. Back then I was just starting reading Marvel comics.

It feels like new single figure hit other non-TRU while the new comic packs hits TRU. EVen Metrojaya only gets DD/BE comic pack but no single carded.

OMG!!! Well this is not 1st time they overpriced goods imported from Li Fung (HK). Remember the SW biker scout w speeder bike (ROTJ ver) was selling at RM 99.95 while the other deluxe pack was only RM 54.90? No takers until last month clearance.....ironically at 40% off. Spotted it at TRU Ikano clearance bin.

Ok, back to marvel issue. Why goods from Li Fung (TRU parent holding company) have to be priced ridicously? Summore this comic pack (reported by other members at crime scene) is incomplete. I do not think it is fake or bad qc figures repacked. Its more likely leftover goods from Hasbro factory (but missing the comic books) which Hasbro dispose to Li Fung at best price. But TRU just had to double its selling price. Surely the sales officer knows that this kinda price wont sell the item. Or is she/ he getting any "benefits" from suggesting such a high price?

I prefer if TRU dont bring in this "Li Fung" items for sale at higher price. Increase my perception of our local TRU being a fool. And i always thought the RED SHIRTS are poor item knowledge.

Everyone has the right to comment on the price and has the choice whether not to buy BUT we cannot be insulted with this kinda of pricing mechanism.

Item clearly states COMIC PACK...but no comic..clearly a incomplete item. How can TRU condone this item for sale?. Or we can redeem the comic book from customer service after payment? Stupidly Hasbro should have repack as FIGURE PACK instead.

Pagging x3 to FindingScreemo....anythin like this kinda crap comic pack on your end? vmad.gif

Never seen those CPs at PG TRU although both were released months ago .
Without the comics ,it's consider incomplete ,so it should be selling at clearance price . rclxub.gif
*
There is an Ultron with Mr Fantastic Comic pack but with its comic book missing at TRU Ikano. Item has been resealed with tape but still priced at newly RM 59.90...WTF!!???

TRU very kedekut...seldom got real clearance...they think their RM 10 with RM 250 purchase is dem attractive. BUy from Parkson and getting upfront 10% is even better.

Wow, very bombastic recently here! I found nothing in Ipoh, toy shops in Ipoh is currently selling mostly Revoltechs, Hot Toys and Enter Bay goods, Hasbro is not so welcomed here!

Even the Parkson in Ipoh seems to be a lil' stingy in Marvel. No Marvel Universe was spotted and only the Captain America 3-pack available.

Funki, no TRU in Ipoh to find such crap yet.

I just bought a HT Ghost Rider. lol.
*
You should return to Sunway asap...need Mr. Fantastic to open up the dimensional portal?

You should see how TRU wants to profiteering from unsuspecting customers with those reject comic packs. Its like buying hawker fried Chow Kuey Tiow w/o siham or prawns but selling at RM10 per plate.

The TRU Msia BOYS TOYS PURCHASING MANAGER must be making some "commission" from issuing these acquisitions from Li Fung or Hasbro.

So TRU have readjusted the price...if it wasnt for the missing comic, I dun think they would budge.

As usual no new MUs figures haul on my end.

NEW YEAR and its 20th anniversary of the JIM LEE X-MEN Trading Cards series 1 produced by IMPEL (later known as SKYBOX)

Received the package from Amazon. Got me a SW Force Attax binder to store the cards...cheaper than buying the card storing sleeves from the card gaming shops.

Later will post pics of some of the cards.

95 Fleer Ultra...the chromium cards right? Or is it the ones where the special cards are 9-panel Danger Room illustrated by Hildebrant Brothers and a 6-card foil event cards?

Those were the good old comic book/ trading card days.

The sleeves are selling for RM 2 here in Subang Jaya. Just one pc. I calculated the total cost hence its better to get those Match/ Force Attax sleeves which are binded together. I can actually remove the SW Force Attax album cover and replace it with some Marvel A4 printout.

Agreed ,it's more cost effective to purchase the SW album .I read somewhere there's also a Marvel Superheroes collection from that series .

Yeah ,there are I think 8-10 chromium cards and the awesome suspended animation cards .I own probably half of each .Back then ,those cards cost around RM8-9 per pack .Rather tough on student budget .

I made a mistake .The series I owned is from '94 Fleer .And there are 9-cards that form huge scenes .
*
Marvel ATTAX cards!? If there is, I will want to buy.

The 8-10 chromium should be the one drawn by Boris Vallejo and his wife Julie Bell..very nice art indeed. Now i remember, they are called Sinister Observations special card series. And the Suspended Animation cards is like those Cell cards. And they were once inserted in some 90s X-Men action figurines produced by ToyBiz.

The 9-card foil set you have is the 94 Fleer series. Forms a huge danger room picture with the X-Men gold and blue team striking to the audience. (I will post pic of it too later)

My X-Men cards were RM 2.50 back in 1992 when I got them from local comic book shop. Then I gave them all to friends at school. Now I want to rekindle with my childhood passion and Jim Lee art again.

Here are some pics of the cards.

Thanks...my Marvel started from comics...unfortunately back then the action figures are beefy sculpted and not appealing unlike now.

Here are the rest of the X-Men cards. Hope the rest of the readers can tolerate cuz its not action figures.

Old skool hologram special cards. Complete set of 5. Based on printing technology 20 years back. Those days scoring a hologram or chromium is like scoring the chase MU figures nowadays.

I will get a few other comics members to write in together to local distributor if they gonna offer the Marvel cards locally. I noticed the SW Force Attax cards are selling well.

Something nostalgia which I love to do during the comic book boom days..collecting trading cards. What to do? Hasbro Msia not only putting a high price tag on most of their stuff...heck, they lazy to bring in more or new Marvel stuff.

And comes with Spidey vs Sandman cutout picture stand. icon_rolleyes.gif
