Perhaps some even don't know this thread exists. I just got to know it last night...
Some people may have the console, but not for gaming...maybe? I actually wanted to buy a BD player, then my friend pushed me the PS3 instead. And so it's been sitting quietly for quite a few months after I took it back, until couple weeks ago when I started to look into it.  |

Oh ya, about this PS3 and broadband connection...I was trying to play Burnout Paradise the other day, and it required me to update the game before I can play it. Just wanna know if most of the games are like this... What happen if no internet connection? Cannot play loh?

I see...so if want to play without update, cabut the RJ45 cable...now I know that, thanks! Because if a friend comes over, and wanna have a few shots in here and there, it'd be quite troublesome if have to update everything...

Faezl, not particular but Burnout Paradise at the moment. I'm still trying to get myself use to the joypad...I once played Army of Two with a friend, we had a good time laughing at each other...can't aim properly. By the way, will add you again later today. Went to buy a couple of games just now. Should be good to fill up my entertainment gap, at least for current time being - Need For Speed Shift, and Ninja Gaiden 2. Wanna try those fighting games like SF4...but hell, I can't even play the 1st Street Fighter. |

Bought it at my friend's shop at Karamunsing. Probably won't be the cheapest around, but tak pa lah...kawan2, you support me, I support you.
Anyway, if I see that Tekken and if ngam2 ada budget, I will take it. So bila ada gathering? Would like to pop over to see how you guys punch iron fists if possible. |

Yea, my ninja game is R1. It did say that you need to connect to PSN network in order to play it. Whatever it is, everything was smooth last night...so Streamyx stable = gaming pleasure. Streamyx not stable = gaming pressure.

Lag is still better than putus line mah.
Line at my area has been down since on the 13th...TM said will be back online in around 11 hours when I called them this afternoon. Saw their technicians working on the line and devices when I went out this afternoon. Hopefully things can be done soon... Ni msg pun post by using handphone. |

Some games are for stress relief, like simple card games, Mahjong Titans, and those simple target shooting Java-based games. But I believe 99% of the games we play are to tease our brain cells and to test our patients.

Yea, sometimes switch on the console in good mood, but ended up switching off in bad mood...wondering why the heck my skill suddenly becomes so louzy. Anyway, currently in Need For Speed Shift. If too stress, then will swap to Burnout for some crash scenes. Tried out the God of War 3 demo last night. Pretty good stuff. Think I will get one of that. |
