Yea, I still remember the 1st online movie I watched was Ip Man, through PPStream, silkly smooth all the way. I went out to grab an ori copy after I moved in to my new home. laugh.gif I was quite skeptic at first when my friend told me he always watch online movie through PPStream. But yea, like I said, it's good for people who only want to watch online movie. Not doing torrent. smile.gif

My BM standard is quite poor...but if I get it right, you are complaining about the Streamyx line kan? blush.gif Let's say I get it right ( laugh.gif ) then you gotta report it to TM, or even request them to change the port for you. Just tell them it's been like that since some times ago, and it affected your business. smile.gif

Besides, it's always better to have a spare modem at home, because it can act strange at times. Especially for heavy user. So when the line dropped, just swap in the spare modem see if things are actually ok. My modem has been giving me problem like this since couple months ago. So when I get disconnected, I will try with the second modem. If still the same, then baru I call TM. Otherwise a hard reset might bring the modem back to live again. laugh.gif

Perhaps one of the easy ways is to connect the usb modem to a spare pc, then PS3 shares the connection with it? It sure will be awesome if we can connect the usb modem directly to PS3 though. I'm not sure about direct connection because my home network is going through switches. But that direct connection idea is good. If it works, then I will be able to bring my PS3 to wife's kampung during Hari Raya later...can have some entertainment while she is busy gathering with her family. smile.gif

Good afternoon people...baru bangun bah *COUGH*. smile.gif Anyway, I guess that modem is not gonna be cheap eh? I think Celcom and Maxis have it but it costs a fortune last time...3G modem or something like that? There is one from D-Link but don't know if it's available locally.

I suppose cara paling senang is like how nenemeia does it...but the wireless range is limited loh. smile.gif

Woow...got fan blasting direct to the console lagi...don't worry bah, I believe as long as the ventilation is good, it won't do any harm to the console. My ceiling fan is more than 10ft away...and I never put it to full speed. laugh.gif

Yea, as long as it's on open space, under normal room temperature, I believe it's gonna be ok. I don't think Sony will put the folding@home in PS3 if it's so fragile... smile.gif

Yea, I reckon so. From what I have seen, lots of people actually like to put it inside the tv cabinet. Memang lah kena heat up. Ini console bukan macam dulu punya atari bah. laugh.gif The most important vent is at the back of the console, that's the place where the heat is enough to melt things...like candle (my experience). But it won't melt the console lah. laugh.gif

So unless your room temperature can be very high, like summer time in western country, then it should be no problem at all. smile.gif

Yea, I'm in Inanam Kiansom area and my line is 4mbps. Can try to go to TM Point there to check with them. According to what they told me, if 2mbps line is available, then so will be 4mbps. smile.gif

wow..so u're using 4mbps streamyx..mesti smooth n laju nie line..bout how much do u need to pay monthly for the bill hehe..
*
Oh yea, smooth like silk, kalau tiada problem lah *touch wood*. But so far so good, download speed can get up to 440+ KB/S. But of course cannot compare with those in West M'sia who are using 10mbps punya line lah. Monthly bill ok ok juga, RM140 only. biggrin.gif

PS3 online gaming or PC? I'm not sure about PS3 online gaming but if PC, 1mbps is actually enough. I can do my downloads while living in AION world last time. No problem. smile.gif
