I got a question about the psp 2000 and 3000.
I heard this from the shop inside Jusco in Seri Kembangan aka SK.

Q1. The person there said that the psp 2000 got pandora battery hacked one. He said it's the V2 board PSP 2000 is pandora hacked.

Q2. And he also said that psp 3000 can revert to firmware 5.00. From what i heard, the lowest firmware ver. for psp 3000 is 5.03/5.04 ONLY (correct me if i'm wrong).

Can anyone please confirm the facts that i pointed out? Just dun wanna to get CONNED.

things like: "how do i rip games from umd" or "where to download" like dat laa~

Q1. well if he still has it, it's recon set as the psp2k with v2 mobo and below has stop production ages ago...like 1 year+ already.
Q2. Currently it's impossible to revert the firmware as the psp3k with v3 mobo is pandora proof (cannot be pandora)
well yeah, fake mspd don't last long..i still remember when i just got my psp, my fake mspd died in 1 week doh.gif

psp2k wif a v3 motherboard is oso a no go. safest bet, psp1k; for a psp2k, look for a non-v3 psp2k.

if want a hackable psp2k, people say try to search for limited edition psp2k, try search for the list of motherboard for the limited edition.

Hmmm, referring to the FAQ from King83, the ofw for the psp2k that I have my eyes on is 4.01 so I guess the motherboard's a v2? Just wondering if there are other ways to determine this other than using pandora's battery which I don't have biggrin.gif Probably can determine it from the serial number or something? blink.gif

you can use pspident to determine the version of your mother. but you will have to enable chickhen 1st even for non v3 mobo users.
