We are pleased to announce that PIKOM has been given the honour of hosting this year’s National WCG 2010.  The exciting National WCG Final Tournament will be held from 16 – 18 July 2010 at the Mid Valley Convention Centre (MVEC), Kuala Lumpur.

This year, selected winners for the National WCG 2010 will represent Malaysia at the WCG Grand Final in Los Angeles, USA which is expected to take place from 29 September – 3 October 2010.

Building up to the National WCG 2010 Final Tournament in Kuala Lumpur, PIKOM will be organising the Regional Qualifiers at the following locations alongside PC Fair 2010:

Johor Bahru, Johor
2nd – 4th April 2010

Penang
8th – 10th April 2010

Kuala Lumpur
16th – 18th April 2010

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
7th – 9th May 2010

Wow, is this the first time ever that WCG Malaysia is confirmed even before WCG confirms the year's official game? Not to mention that WCG and PC Fair is going to be in the same place. Epic madness. shocking.gif

Chaps, actually Indonesia jump the gun earlier than us. They even announced two promotional games, Crazy Kart and Cross Fire to be played for WCG Indonesia 2010 and the announcement is on November!

Expect Malaysian games to be played as promotional games as well, but the possibility of DotA and SDO is still there.

is that anything that FIFA 10 will be replaced by PES, bcoz gameplay of fifa in pc quite ashamed compared to pes

i have this feeling that the april qualifiers will be filled with staple games
that is most probably cs 1.6, fifa, warcraft 3 and starcraft
for the rest of the games no hope biggrin.gif
since it is most likely that the official gamelist is released around april

i think as per last year, the first setlist would be out next month. so, we just wait and see how WCG Inc would act this time.

don't put out rest of the games yet. it's always full of surprises biggrin.gif
