If i were to buy an iphone at China or Hongkong (original) without any package can i use it in Malaysia? using Digi line?
If i were to continue my study in Aus can i use the iPhone in Aus with other line?
Because i was told from my friend saying that if you were to buy iPhone from other country you can't use it in Malaysia. If u were to buy iPhone in HK u only can use it in Hk. Is that true?

As long as the phone is unlocked, that's not true. The iPhone is similiar hardware-wise across the globe (except for the Chinese version that has no WiFi).

Anyway, if the original iphone in China is unlocked by the carrier, then u can use it anywhere in the world. If you buy the locked ones, u may need to have a software of hardware unlock to use it elsewhere.
