From TallJustin's blog, it is acknowledged that the PQ for SD channels over HDMI is lower, and is noted by Astro. A fix will be issued via a software update soon. So good then. http://stinkyfruit.wordpress.com/BTW, bro TallJustin. Update lah bro. |

Usually prior to launching a new channel, the particular channel slot already broadcasts promos a few days before. If indeed the channel starts tomorrow, it is very last minute from Astro. Just like Owen's and Rooney's goals against City in the two matches.  ARSEnal to go down by two goals. |

You don't have to download. Heck, you don't have to leave your decoder in stand by even. I recalled someone here mentioned that for new channels, Byond decoder can receive it not in stand by mode. I was watching as usual just now from 10pm. I checked then, no 832 yet. But at 12am, I checked. At first Ch 832 was labelled as TESTA, And it says you don't subsribe to this channel. I changed to another channel, then tried back 832. Voila, ESPN HD.

ASSP HD lost the feed for the Carling Cup final last nite a few times. At one point, it was so long that I switched to ASSP SD to watch.

Yea. My school has one. Its under an Astro programme called Kampus Astro. Have yet to try it though, but I bet the interface is the same as Astro Max.

I will be using component till they fix this! You can stretch in component. Will only switch to HDMI when watching HD. Stupid Astro. Long testing time for this update they don't realise the shortcomings? Even the subtitles are not visible!
