Subscribe for movie channels would be cool. Coz even if you've watched the movie, you'd like to watch it again coz it's in HD.. At least that's what I did.. BUT, I figured out SOME HD movies are not in a proper aspect ratio.. even new movies.. But speed racer HD is soo cool. Make your TV looked so pwerful.

1080i = interlaced
1080p = progressive

if you don't understand what interlaced and progressive means read this

byond is 1080i on some channels and 720p on some channels

I hav a feeling it's going to be RM20

the HD decoder will not indicate the channel's original resolution, but for HD it is either 1080i or 720p, for SD it is broadcast at 576i

if you select 1080i in the box, everything will be upscaled to be 1080i, your TV will then deinterlace it to become 1080p

if 720p is selected in the box, 576i will be upscaled, 1080i content will be down-scaled, your TV will again convert everything to 1080p

go to installation settings, key in your pin (default is 0000), then hd settings then select 1080i and press ok. that's it.

F1 in HD “not until 2011″

BBC’s Lee McKenzie has said on Twitter that FOM will not be offering Formula 1 in HD to broadcasters until 2011.

Many other forms of motor racing have been broadcast in high def for years. This year will be the sixth season NASCAR has been broadcast in HD.

While F1 dawdles about catching up with HD technology, football is pressing ahead with the introduction of 3D broadcasts, starting with this year’s World Cup.

As for World Cup, it will be in HD..
Y? Coz there are international broadcasters who transmit HD feed for World Cup
HD for football is not a big problem around the world unlike F1
People aren't even talking about World Cup in HD around the world
They are now moving on to World Cup in 3D!!!
Astro..don't even think about 3D..u cant even fix a zoom problem in 24hours..!!!!

I think astro tried to promote their byond HD through F1 pretend-HD and backfired, they imagine malaysia viewers can be easily fooled

They got big HD Plasma and LCD Tv at home but Astro give them to watch with black pillar box or in zoom mode
