I think Drogba will stop scoring. He'll be the creator now. Should be able to get 4-5 assists at least if he just hang around the halfway line. Let Arsenal attack, lose ball, pass to him, and he'll make the killer pass. Anelka and Malouda should have enough pace to get on the end of his passes.
Added on February 8, 2010, 12:41 amArsene should put on 'own goal' now. He would be a better striker than Arshavin.
Added on February 8, 2010, 12:41 amWe went to so much trouble to loan OG to them, yet they put that guy on the bench. WTF!

QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Feb 8 2010, 12:45 AM) Terry's good with his head. I wonder does he give good head. I'm sure Bridge's girl or ex girl is satisfied with Terry's head.

Might as well turn off and go to sleep. Arsenal giving up now. Long range meaningless shots.. fabregas is fed up already.
*to be fair, Chelsea is very hard to break down there at the Bridge. We pwned their midfield also can't create any clear cut chances. They are a very experienced team. Good luck to Arsenal.
Added on February 8, 2010, 12:51 amVermalen isn't a patch on Vida. Clashed with Malouda of all people and he's down, while the bleeding Malouda is walking like a free man.
Added on February 8, 2010, 12:53 amWhy the hell they have nobody to stand on the bloody post? Have they taken lessons from Rafa on how to defend set pieces?

QUOTE(razorboy @ Feb 8 2010, 12:53 AM) when i look at arsenal now, im really afraid that our team might end like that if the glazer thing doesnt get solved, their selling instead of buying. And look at the team? look at Wenger. its just sad to watch a legendary manager like Wenger to falter so badly, they have a decend squad of players, not a great squad. It's sad to see the gunners getting destroyed like this, especially after all those years of classic matches they put up against us, I'll never forget the bergkamp vs big peter penalty, i really want to see them rise again. We don't sell players just because they're old though like what happens at Arsenal. We keep most of our players, no matter how old they are as long as they're still useful. Gary, Scholes, Giggsy.. Keano before this. And we don't sell as many players as them, certainly not first teamers/squad that is still of use to us.

QUOTE(razorboy @ Feb 8 2010, 01:07 AM) personally i think they're selling them 1st team players for the money. I think the whole i'm-building-the-team-from-scratch crap and not buying players is just a way to hide that they have financial problems as well. The moving to Emirates Stadium, yes its huge and pretty, but i bet that took a big chunk of them gunner's fund, and those over priced tickets over at the Emirates + the current economy, that dont help either, i think Arsenal genuinely has a bigger problem then just lacking of confidence/wrong tactics/ and ANTI-FOOTBALL crap That's the risk they took when they decided to build the new stadium. If they didn't, they would be forever be in the shadows of the others. And with sugar daddies in the picture, they would be digging their grave if they stayed at Highbury. Short term they would struggle, but long term they would be better off. They can triple their matchday income. And that's a lot of $$. As long as they stay in the top 4, they should be good. But with City around, that would be a bit of a problem. One of Arsenal/Liverpool might miss out soon to them.. or even us if our financial mess turns really shitty.

QUOTE(wakalah @ Feb 8 2010, 10:16 AM) we sold '7' last summer... u remember how 'great' is him?????? this '7' is equal to how many players???? We generally don't sell that many players though unless that guy want to leave, or we have no use whatsoever for him anymore. And in the case of our ex #7, he has been dreaming of Real Madrid/Spain all his life and he would have gone after we won the CL if he got his way.. we just delayed the inevitable for a season. QUOTE(wakalah @ Feb 8 2010, 10:26 AM) I'm just worry will the management to sell valuable player of the team to cover financial debt......... againIt had nothing to do with the debt regarding Ronaldo. It was all about Ronaldo and Real Madrid wanting each other. We got a very good price for them. Drogba, 17 goals and 8 assists for the season. He helped Chelsea get goals every 70mins.. crazy.

QUOTE(leymahn @ Feb 10 2010, 12:10 AM) I'm looking at Alien's siggy, and noted that after Villa's match, United have Milan. At the weekend do not have match? Got excited for a second there looking at alien's siggy. Saw 10/2.. then saw the 11/2. Have to wait another night. Sigh. I think this weekend FA Cup nights. Since we're out, no game. Will be a pretty boring holiday.. arrgh. Better hope we don't lose tomorrow night. If not no mood till next game which is a long time in football terms. What's more we're up against Milan. They're not doing too badly lately huh? Ronaldinho seems to come alive.. As for tomorrow, hoping Dunne will have one of his off days, and would assist Mohd Own Goal.

Berba this season have been pretty good in front of goal actually. He scores every 155mins in the league. Last season one goal every 300mins or something. He's in pretty good form too although his performance is still below par since he just return from injury(+ missing games now and then). 4 goals, 3 assists in his last 8 appearances(4 starts).

QUOTE(hairiehasnie @ Feb 10 2010, 01:59 PM) can everyone stop calling mohd own goal, mohd is used by muslim in their name for a good purpose not for jokes. maybe funny to you but for me not funny at all. it might raise big issues if someone taking it very seriously. how bout Mr. own goal or Encik Own Goal ker. xde sape nak terasa. Mr, encik, sir, datuk ain't a name. It's a bloody title. What difference does it make if we call it Syed Own Goal, Barney Own goal, David own goal, Jack own goal, Lim Own goal, Raj Own goal.. blah blah. It doesn't mean we are ridiculing the 'name' or it's origin. It's just a common name that was probably the first thought at the time when someone mentioned that at first. He was muslim too, and I am a Muslim. People shouldn't get too sensitive over 'small' things, unless it directly making fun of the name, people, places or religion which isn't the case here.

I know who very well who our great prophet is. And that's the point I was making. We are not making fun of our great prophet/religion here are we? We're not in any way whatsoever ridiculing him and what it means to us Muslim. It's just a name that just so happens to be a common name here in Malaysia. What you are saying is that nobody else should use that name? If a criminal with that name get on the news, nobody should mention the Mohd part of his name because that means we're ridiculing our great prophet name? QUOTE(Pain_X @ Feb 11 2010, 04:38 AM) Really rubbish decision man. 50/50 ball, first half and first foul by Nani and the dumb ass ref decides to send him off. Didn't saw it, so can't comment much. But from reading other views, he seemed to jump off the ground attacking the ball.. if that sounds like what I'm thinking, ref had no choice but to sent him off even if he did get the ball.
