I think Drogba will stop scoring. He'll be the creator now. Should be able to get 4-5 assists at least if he just hang around the halfway line. Let Arsenal attack, lose ball, pass to him, and he'll make the killer pass. Anelka and Malouda should have enough pace to get on the end of his passes.

We don't sell players just because they're old though like what happens at Arsenal. We keep most of our players, no matter how old they are as long as they're still useful. Gary, Scholes, Giggsy.. Keano before this. And we don't sell as many players as them, certainly not first teamers/squad that is still of use to us.

That's the risk they took when they decided to build the new stadium. If they didn't, they would be forever be in the shadows of the others. And with sugar daddies in the picture, they would be digging their grave if they stayed at Highbury. Short term they would struggle, but long term they would be better off. They can triple their matchday income. And that's a lot of $$. As long as they stay in the top 4, they should be good. But with City around, that would be a bit of a problem. One of Arsenal/Liverpool might miss out soon to them.. or even us if our financial mess turns really shitty.

We generally don't sell that many players though unless that guy want to leave, or we have no use whatsoever for him anymore. And in the case of our ex #7, he has been dreaming of Real Madrid/Spain all his life and he would have gone after we won the CL if he got his way.. we just delayed the inevitable for a season.

It had nothing to do with the debt regarding Ronaldo. It was all about Ronaldo and Real Madrid wanting each other. We got a very good price for them.

Drogba, 17 goals and 8 assists for the season. He helped Chelsea get goals every 70mins.. crazy.

Berba this season have been pretty good in front of goal actually. He scores every 155mins in the league. Last season one goal every 300mins or something. He's in pretty good form too although his performance is still below par since he just return from injury(+ missing games now and then). 4 goals, 3 assists in his last 8 appearances(4 starts).

Mr, encik, sir, datuk ain't a name. It's a bloody title. What difference does it make if we call it Syed Own Goal, Barney Own goal, David own goal, Jack own goal, Lim Own goal, Raj Own goal.. blah blah. It doesn't mean we are ridiculing the 'name' or it's origin. It's just a common name that was probably the first thought at the time when someone mentioned that at first. He was muslim too, and I am a Muslim. People shouldn't get too sensitive over 'small' things, unless it directly making fun of the name, people, places or religion which isn't the case here.

We're not in any way whatsoever ridiculing him and what it means to us Muslim. It's just a name that just so happens to be a common name here in Malaysia. What you are saying is that nobody else should use that name? If a criminal with that name get on the news, nobody should mention the Mohd part of his name because that means we're ridiculing our great prophet name?

Didn't saw it, so can't comment much. But from reading other views, he seemed to jump off the ground attacking the ball.. if that sounds like what I'm thinking, ref had no choice but to sent him off even if he did get the ball.
