Oh yeah last but not least, congratulations to Howard Webb. Currently the best referee after Perluigi Collina retires IMO.

Giggs played the cross in for Fletcher's chance in the end. Straight after that he was crossing to Rooney to head home. Last time it was in the 96th min, just now it was 92nd min. How the hell are we going to replace him. Thank god Nani is showing signs of having his brain back functioning.

Nani's play have been good recently..I think he finally get the message, you're a winger-you should be putting in more crosses and to be frank, his crosses are decent and If he continues playing like that I'm sure he'll be an asset. |

His crosses have always been dangerous. But since he came back from injury, he's been keeping things nice and simple. Those early crosses from him are very good. Keep that up Nani!

I guess the reason Fergie went with 3 central midfielders was to accomodate Scholesy. Did very well sitting in front of the back four, spraying some beautiful passes to the wide areas. The fact that we had two very mobile and able ball winners slightly in front of him made him look well protected and was given lots of time to make things happen. Nani did very well tonight, more of this and we'll see him realise the potential he promised when he first signed. The little break has done him a world of good.

QUOTE(nazanto @ Jan 28 2010, 06:43 AM) Should be Giggs, played a part in all of United goals, but in a performance like tonight, I dont want to give MOTM awards to anyone..The team WON it!, Epic game, against City, against "the Hulk" Carlitos and I'm glad that we denied him the trophy..there is no better place in Manchester than Old Trafford. Eat that Carlitos, and learn to shut your pie-hole, you disrespect the manager and the captain and that means you disrespect the fans. Thanks for your contribution for the club, now go f**k yourself at Eastlands. This post has been edited by cekutz: Jan 28 2010, 06:58 AM |

Quoted from Football365.com :
Wayne Rooney quietened 'noisy neighbours' Manchester City with an injury-time winner which sent Manchester United to Wembley. Last week, in a New York bar named Mad Hatter, City chief executive Garry Cook delivered the best team-talk Sir Alex Ferguson could have wanted as he declared this Carling Cup tie as good as over with the Blues leading 2-1 from the first leg at Eastlands. If Cook knew much about Manchester United, it is this - never write them off. f***in' right! |
