1. i have the same england jersey which i bought from ebay.
it looks abit worn but its not too bad.
the side with the three lions logo has a hologram at the bottom left of the shirt. maybe yours has come off or something.
but looks legit to me. it has the same umbro tags at the bottom.

2. i dont think there is any way of preventing that.
better that one peel off than the badges right
