That was only for terrain map.
Not for satelite.

there are no satellite map on offline , imagine the size of the map if they released offline, only "MAP" available in all GPS devices, for "Satellite" view, turn on ure Internet facility, sure u can view, however u wont afford to pay the fone bill

open source or not , really no point for the time being and it doesnt really benefits us tube user. nokia gonna concentrate on maemo i believe and symbian is not that glory compare to older days, further more symbian s60v5 is nothing but s60v3 with touch features

now all design like that edi, 4 to 5 months ago maybe you can find the design you wanted.

It's like that. I think because it's tedious to cut the hole just for the front camera and proximity sensor area. So they just cut away the whole section there.
