yea d firmware version is v40...d latest wan

since its v40 . I'm not too sure . As i know v40 is unhackable at the moment .Even its hackable -after restart hp ,it will revert back . Maybe in v40 you cant change the product code .Not sure on this though .

From my attempt,i change the product code using v31 .Successful. v40 ?looks like you are the first one to try in v40.

However ,I have no idea how to degrade the firmware. This one you need to ask those pro here . Of course you could hack the v40 -but make sure you don't restart your machine -Once its restart -everything will be revert

Step of flashing v40 might be complicated though - (if you ask me ,not suggested)
