Manage to mingle around with the A40.
If compare with X41, both have their own pro's and con's.
If you want wireless headphone, I guess you have no choice but to choose the X41 at the moment.
In term of sound, i think the A40 a bit firmer, crisp and solid. As the X41, its better in cancelling the noise and you can up the bass.
For the design, the A40 looks better. And as for the price point, the X41 hands down cheaper.
And the A40 works as well with the PS3 (chat function)-Although I still havent try it.
And for the Live chat, the A40 out perform the X41. Not sure because of the wireless or what. But, it seems clearer and more natural.

The Razer Chimaera still not out yet in few months.
Hopefully, it works as well for the PS3 chat because from the CES, it seems that they also like not sure whether the chat function is compatible or not.
By the look of the price point, it seems the razer is value for money i guess because of the wireless connection plus it has a charging/docking station for the headphone.
I also cant wait to see what the razer can deliver since the price is half of the A40. The razer looks like the A40 but with the X41 core functions.

Guys,

There is another option out there is you're don't mind living without the chat function.

Get a Victor-JVC SU-DH1 Surround Sound Portable Headphone Amplifier and then plug in a quality headphone (any headphone will do)

The JVC unit pumps out Dolby Headphone sound which works with any single speaker headphone. Seems that this delivers the best audio for surround sound rather than those headphones with multiple speakers.

Great reviews on the net too.

However it may cost more than the X41 at the end of the day depending on the headphones that you decide to spring for. Oh yeah it's also wired but you do get to swap headphones

The neckband is quite good as a headset, i can hear voicechats very clearly. Not so good for movies or music though. Also with the 360 u need to connect the wires from the headset to the tv or receiver and had to set the voice output mix with the in-game audio, u won't get voicechat from the gamepad. Kinda hassle with all the wires, so i just use it mainly for my pc gaming instead.

Don't think you can get the A40s at Low Yat.

But you can order it from the Astro (A40 manufacturer, not our TV Astro) website. They ship worldwide.

The complete package is quite expensive. Better to get Turtle Beach's X41 from Ebay since it provides 7.1 surround and is wireless too (should come up to RM850)

Other option is to order the A40 Mixamp, which will come up around RM600 plus shipping. Then get the headphone separately.

I have bought a set of Sennheiser HD448's and will be getting the JVC-Victor SU-HD1 surround sound amp (about RM550) from Singapore.
