Did it with my T9800 and SU7300..
quite a decent result for T9800.. the max temp only 60°C while 35°C at idle.. but for SU7300 not much different though.. just 1-2°C difference..
didn't test the battery life yet..

QUOTE(Eugene91 @ August 30, 2010, 10:14 am) It would definitely have a greater impact on the Core 2 TXXXX Series Processors ya.. just that I didn't expect a whooping 20°C drop..

QUOTE(solou123 @ Sep 2 2010, 07:14 PM) just now i try to undervolt my comp..1st time comp hang d..the value too low d...2nd time i decrease 0.125 for each cnq or p(i not sure abt that)..i wanna ask ...izzit i have to try and guess for the lowest value of voltage that wil not BSOD..den stress the cpu by orthos to ensure it is stable?..izzit the correct step here?.. Normally I just keep the orthos running.. then decrease the vid every 5 minutes and jotted down the value.. until I got BSOD.. let the comp restart.. after that increase one or two steps in vid.. then run the orthos overnight.. even your laptop could run the orthos overnight.. doesn't mean it is stable.. try it with some heavy applications that you normally used.. last time.. whenever I got too much units in RedAlert3.. the game just stop working.. however.. increase the vid solved the problem..

if you are lazy to undervolt every multiplier.. you could just lock at the highest multiplier and undervolt that particular multiplier..
that what I have done.. of course when the comp is plugged..
