honestly, the 75300 is shaper than the kitty 1870. i have a cheap filter, it kills the sharpness. so i took it off, like years ago.

pp slightly for the color to pop, sharpness is already there, coz its stopped down to 5.6.

BTW just bought 50mm f1.8 today from tarita BB...most of the shop qoute around 450-500...cant get 400 as expected from shangrila in lowyat...f58 lowest i can find around rm1150...cz 1680 around 2450-2500...100mm macro around 2300-2400...sp90 about 1400-1500....

dunno...didnt scout all the shop for f58...maybe theres some shop selling cheaper....

u mean AF/MF button at the rear? how to use it? i tried it but cannot adjust the focus lol..

my step: focus at some object -> half pressed the shutter for lock focus -> tekan the AF/MF button -> fail to override the manual focusing..

is my step correct?

edit: just found at the menu option : its choose Lock Focus..

hmmm with regards to the 70-300..im actually having it..this lens...is good when the situation is bright.. it gives awesomely sharp nice pics... examples


all images are taken by this lens.. ....

that being said...it is not a very fast lens...nor is the aperture value very desirable ... .... but given the price... hahaha im ok with it!... the lens does hunt in dark lighting conditions though....

but thats all solved(almost) with the a700 mf overide!

hmmm iq... i planning to compare it with my FUTURE ZIESS ahhahaha.... so  far didnt do any comparison yet lar...prolly can search for many in depth reviews online..just google it .....this lens main weakness is purple fringing at high contrast areas....but can be photoshopped out la...
