QUOTE(Ksano @ Feb 11 2010, 12:18 PM) the no 6 picture... the guy's face expression... priceless ghehehehe..... Thank you. Will try to keep that in mindI guess freezing the subject with higher shutter speed is better for my opinion QUOTE(Sp00kY @ Feb 11 2010, 12:29 PM) You are right, the subjects are not in focus. (Looks like the background yang kena fokus... hehe ). I had difficulty in focusing properly. What kind of focusing mode would be appropriate? Any suggestion? All shots were taken at arms length high above my head (because audience infront blocked the view). Luckily, the A550 has the LiveView LCD that can be rotated facing downwards. Very useful feature la. What about the colors? do you guys think the colors (red etc) are too saturated? I bump the saturation setting to 2+ if Im not mistaken. Thank you for your kind inputs. Hope to learn from you guys and improve my photo skills |

QUOTE(noprob @ Feb 11 2010, 01:58 PM) QUOTE(noprob @ Feb 11 2010, 07:16 PM) nice panning shot Im still trying to learn and get my panning right. Till now, still tak jadi la my panning One comment on your framing (ie where you crop your photo). Sharing some info (from books on photography) suggesting that photos such as motor racing, cars, athlit running, animal running etc... use the 1/3 rule to give more dramatic. ie for your motor shots, since the motorcycle is moving from left side of photo to right, move your subject (the motorbike) more to the left of the photo and leave the right side of photo (ie front of motor) more spacing. That will give the impression of the bike moving from left to right. Added on February 11, 2010, 8:24 pm QUOTE(NewCell @ Feb 11 2010, 01:15 PM) no pp just resize. C&C are Welcome.
