QUOTE(porkchop @ Feb 8 2010, 09:12 PM) oh noes..just spend rm42 to buy a giotto blower for my a550 as over the weekend found that there is a lot of dust on my sensor..(via taking pic at a single coloured object) dun be so happy .... then jusst now before i wanna use my blower, notice our camera got "sensor cleaning" and click it poof..all dust gone...so wasted my money to buy blower..but just wondering since the camera is still attached to the lens, what happen to the dust?? its still inside the camera body rite? how to get it out permanently? You may test the dust result at F18~F22++ as I know A550 was one of the "dusty" camera, blower sometimes need help when the sticky dust falls off the sensor and yet is impossible to remove permanently, the only way you can prevent much dust came in was putting it into dry box and to clean it with blower or use brush if you willing to risk it ... best way to wipe all the dust away is to sent it off to cleaning ..... ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ For my task ..... can somebody give me some comment on the best price I can get for F58AM This post has been edited by wingster: Feb 8 2010, 09:18 PM |

QUOTE(braindead_fr3ak @ Feb 10 2010, 10:59 PM) hahaha.. ok guys....lemme explain my decision... in my personal opinion ... CZ1680 was much better color compared to Tammy 1750 ... where else Tammy 1750 has some vignetting issue also at F2.8 iq wise according to the reviews... the ziess is VERY dasyat... it exceeds the sensors resolution ...but only in the centre... the 17-50 tammy...does not differ MUCH...from the ziess... the tammy how ever is a f2.8 lens..which i really like as i prefer street and also portrait phots.. the tammy is soft at f2.8 but EXtremely sharp at f4..... whereas the ziess STARTS at f3.5 which is 2/3 stops lower... i dont really like harsh flash photos so...im going with the tammy... furthermore...i got big palms....the ziess..is slightly bigger than a kittie only....i feel larh...not comfy wheras the tammy.. ehhehe..... 62mm vs 67mm no?.. then comes the price range...the tammy will cost me arnd 1k plus where the ziess will be 2k plus....although i know the range is different... but when i played with the zeiss... it didnt "ngam" with me....maybe i play with tammie then i know the diff..so now..target tammy... ahahahah in terms of sharpness and bokeh CZ1680 looks great much better than Tammy 1750.... XD But yeah Tammy 1750 was much fatter and tough look (built quality not so assuring), loving the F2.8 shooting XD ......... just the range :/ wasn't so telephoto enough.... QUOTE(kevinwcw @ Feb 11 2010, 01:12 AM) if not wrong a550 is 5fps or 7fps...fast enuf to help you capture your moving object...if can add 70300G SSM will be much more smoother.... 5 fps for continuously auto focus7fps for one times exposure and auto focus .... so in 7 fps SSM wasn't play much role here unless you keep trigger your shutter ..... >.< |

QUOTE(albnok @ Feb 11 2010, 11:10 AM) alex_cyw1985: Nice side light! It looks like the cat is curious to what the light is. so A550 wasn't perform well at F2.8 for fast motion?braindead_fr3ak: The VC version doesn't exist for A-mount but you don't need it anyway. If the VC version of the A-mount one has the Tamron micromotor then it would suck (the screw-drive 17-50mm focuses faster, quieter and more accurately, when comparing the Nikon F-mount original and New (for D40) versions.) I believe there are some accounts of the Zeiss focusing faster than the Tamron. You sure about the poor IQ and inconsistency of the Sigmas? Make an educated decision, go try the lenses out first! The WB on the car is a bit off though. gizmo_pony: Strictly speaking the A900/A850 has the best sports performance (dual cross sensors and a F2.8 sensor in the middle, which the A550 does not have.) Also has 11 focus assist points not found in any other Alpha. |
