interested in this phone but need to comfirm a few thing...
1) shop salesman say this phone hav no bluetooth...true?
2) salesman say ap set and ori set diff is ap phone cannot update the firmware, ori can update firmware...true?

bought a vivaz adi tomorrow get my phone whu..whu..wanna ask can this phone use nokia ovi gps map and stuff? or can use malfree only?

okie ^^ need to read up more on this phone. my dad persuade me to take ori cos he say better warranty and stuff, suppose to get the phone tonight but somehow salesman try booting up the phone with my sim card but cannot on...zzz told me need to use use diff firmware for my digi sim card wor...hard for me to believe lo but promise tomorrow can take phone zzz. make me cannot sleep nia tonight. anything i should check cos i feel something fishy a bit...

if se is going to allow vivaz to upgrade it's symbian os they should allow us to sent in our hp to their center for upgrading ^^. I heard se x10 going to get a android os upgrade from 1.6 to 2.1 this september. hope vivaz get 1 too with this new symbian

I use total video converter to convert ppstream downloaded video. Use nokia cell phone s60 3th baseline format, In setting normally i change the audio to 128bit, video to 500kbps, frame rate to 24fps and resolution to 640x360. I saw real player in my dad's 5800 but i haven't really try looking for it as it's not really readily avaible for download.

too bad vivaz no xenon flash else i super satisfied adi...now only very satisfied only ^^

Yes, it's a feature rich phone if u like symbian os and not to mention good design and looks. For me what attract me to go for vivaz is it's look, compactness and good hardware spec. Camera and video is just a nice bonus for me. But frankly i feel the current symbian os cannot bring out the hardware power of this phone. I can notice some improvement over 5800 but.... Fyi i'm replying u using my vivaz^^

go for vivaz. X10 os version1.6 only. If want android phone better go for moto milestone

I heard se going to give android upgrade this september. Symbian^3 phone coming out later this year and spec is almost same with vivaz so i hope sr will upgrade vivaz os..finger crossed

From my experience a lot cannot run due to no keypad on s60v5. Java game can la.
Unsigned app can be sign using dev cert. Problem with cannot hack is certain program like ovi store need recognize phone model cannot bypass if phone not hack

If u want advice and feedback u need to let us know what u use ur phone for or what r u looking for in vivaz. Frankly a lot of good software like tunewiki, pdf+, ovi map, window live for s60v5 cannot run on vivaz cos all lock for nokia phone only zzz so imo using se phone running nokia os is not a very good experience for me

i dun think it's really pink la more like deep lavish red. I also using red vivaz dun feel out of place

the pouch for me is very useful, so is the stylus. the pouch actually is very well design for vivaz dun miss out on it imo. can hold my vivaz and stylus attach quite well and firm. As for the plastic stand, try watching a full length movie while holding ur vivaz and u'll find some use for it. btw i think ap also should get full set accessories cos all se vivaz come with those accessories 1 ma. out from factory already got inside the box adi and ap also get their se vivaz from se ma it's not like they make their own vivaz...btw my ori vivaz come with a extra screen protector inside.

uncle stimix got more ballz than me hehe. Btw 1 thing good bout satio is satio hackable now and vivaz cannot hack yet. Posted an interesting mod in satio thread that allow tweaking of the processor to run at 600mhz and ui to run at 60fps. Which translate into very fast and smooth symbian exp. Frankly symbian on se phone doen't get as much support as nokia...sad. Also reply from se said that they currently dun hav plan to upgrade vivaz to symbian^3. Imo the best platform now to buy phone is android, i even plan to develope app for android. Thou symbian owned a huge chunk of market share now, if it doesn't get more competitive it's going to get owned and obsolete in the future.

se vivaz is a super feature rich smart phone

se vivaz pro got 5mp camera compare to vivaz 8mp and video recording for vivaz is hd compare to vivaz pro.
vivaz pro also a bit thicker than vivaz but still very slim and attractive for a side slid keyboard phone or whatever u all call that type try comparing at gsmarena since non of us r vivaz pro owner

i may be wrong...follow gsmarena ftw ^^

btw the default sony ericsson theme i find it very nice to look but very unflexible to personal customization eg the dock on the bottom part of ur screen.

i use back old symbian style stanby theme for now...sad

Added on May 28, 2010, 7:08 pmA new firmware for vivaz has been released. This update includes a noticeable performance improvement,updated Google maps, you-tube application and neoreader application.The radio also now supports RDS. I also felt the touch response has been improved a bit.
