20 min wifi surfing

battery flashing red at Mon 6pm.

anyone experience this b4? After you recorded a HD video and saved it, then you playback from media...it cannot play and a message pops up "File not found"! It happened twice to me ady

Mine fully charged from Sun night till Mon morning... only about 10 sms today and it's red already by 8pm without any applications throughout the day... is there something wrong? on the running applications, the menu and phone is always there right?

On standby avg can last ~3-4 days..

I having problem using the update service. Tested on 2 PC and followed all the steps given. Even downloaded the aps twice and re installed.

I followed all the steps given in the guide and software. The guide requested 100% batt charge vs software only ask for 50%. Anyway, to cut the story short, I tried everything. No respond at the part where I press the call button and then slot in the USB cable. Waited very long as well easily more than 5 min.

Any idea what happen?

standard battery life imo...mine same with ur's....the real battery eater is the 2 hour of gps and 30min of cam...gps eat battery quite a lot. minus those 2 things and u should get another day of normal use.

wah....can record but cannot play?....try getting the video to computer and see can play? maybe file corrupted....nv happen before lo....maybe check ur memory card see got problem cos maybe video get corrupted due to bad memory card thingy...not sure la juz say say only? frankly i'm stun by ur problem

ur's a bit extreme le....maybe battery not ori or spoilt izit.

btw a few way to prolong ur battery is turn the screen brightness to minimum and set the network band to use only gsm. also make sure ur bluetooth or wifi or gps is off.

i got try describe the process in detail a few page back u can check it out...else i recommend go to se service center and ask them do for u...maybe can learn what we did wrong or find the problem. gl

ok got it updated. It seems to be related to the USB driver not installed. I retried and reboot. It works now.

i have yet to do my first update due to this persisting problem...

the pc-phone connection seems to lost in the middle of update..

Check also your display setting.. To maximise & reduce drainage, I alwyas set to the lowest...You can actually get 4 days max if you dun use GPS, WIFI & BT & just on calls & SMS..

Goto phone>Display & check the brightness setting.

i have tried that before but that also keep stopping midway during donwloading stage and tell me to charge my phone untill full.

anyway,

i tried again last night and manage to successfully update my phone. But not untill its stops 3 times but luckily i notice each time i retried, it continued to download the file at the point it stopped. One strange thing i notice also is during early stage of downloading the file size is around 121 Mb. but at around the third try, the file reduced to 98.5 Mb. i wonder if there are some part of the update missing...

any way.. where to check our OS update version?

Well anothe disadvantage to add on comapre to 5800 - I remembered dropping 5800 once on tarred road..during cycling..just abit of chips & scretch on the rubberished cover...compare to the flimsy plastic cover..
