Our internet serveice provider that we use are uncapable of handling any overseas connection. You are lucky to even get 2 bars. Lag can effect your gameplay below i post the symtoms of lag. My opinion is to just leave the game. Its rather you quit game and save your time rather than teleporting around the map.
1. Long loading times. Sometime when loading you get stuck in waiting for other players.
2. Even if you clearly have shot the enemy, the game doesnt response (no extra 'X' crosshair)
3. Enemies will usually have a 1-2 second extra time to shoot you before you 'actually' attack
4. Predator missile can instantly hit the ground just after it is callled.
5. Time travelling. Yes the worst case. This is when you suddenly go back in time to a previous position in the map where you just walk pass. Sometime if your lucky you can also go forward in time to where you want to be and hit a wall.
6. My favorite, the second thoughts grenade. If your tossing a grenade or planting a claymore, your hand will be reluctant to throw it. This means your player is having second thoughts about throwing the grenade. You will be spammed by sounds of grenade pin pulling or claymore hitting the ground.
So if you have any of the problems. YOUR LAGGING. Dont complain cause this is what happens when there is only 1 internet service provider which i dont mention because their name is not worth mentioning.

cause my whole taman only gt 2 ppl using streamyx, and my download speed goes from 200-300kb/s, and im on 1mbp/s package 
but sometimes lag until 1 barguys when u play mw2, u guys set sensitivity as what? i set as low cause my ear balance suck. but i notice when i set low, i cant swing fast enough to shoot,should i up it to medium?
