I did , but don't have much to say about it.
It is too much conspiracy theory , I don't think it is real. But I think project venus is a great idea , don't have to work no more.

Project Venus is a fantastic idea and I will definitely give my support to it if it ever gets the chance. And no, in this project, it's not that you don't have to work no more, we eliminate unnessary jobs that does not serve any purpose in our true development as a civilisation. Instead, we focus on developing ourself more freely. Currently, the monetary system has greatly inhibit innovation and curb wonderful invention to replace our existing techs.

I watched zeitgeist. It was actually recommended by one of my lecturers. After watching I have one thing in my mind. What's the point even though it's true? Nobody can do anything for it. Life goes on.

afaik and imho, those unnecessary jobs are what moves the worlds' economy. Have you ever felt that in an organization, there are so many positions that some of the positions (including managers) should not exists.

Having worked at few companies including mnc and local, i had seen that this happens (almost) everywhere. and i do think that i we eliminate those 'unwanted' or 'unnecessary' jobs, then many people suffer, unemployed and ....

just my opinion ..2 cents.

I don't think people will suffer unemployment, they are lazy people and got away with poor management. It is an imperfect world that unlucky people call reality, making money is to make people pay and does not adhere to any rules or ethics by itself.

Project Venus is a form of communism.

Bear in mind that not all communists are maoists (the cruel Mao Ze Dong who kills thousands of students with tanker), to say that all communists are maoists is just like to say that all muslims are taliban!

I've watched both the videos and read its Orientation Guide. I think the videos don't depict their message well enough coz it mainly covers religion, monetary economy and conspiracy theories. My advice to those who wishes to know more about it is to read the orientation guide BEFORE you watch the videos. This is because most people watch the videos first and made conclusions from there. Reading might not be the thing for most people, but if you really want to understand this, you have to read it. Nobody should assume anything about The Venus Project or The Zeitgeist Movement without actually finish reading its Orientation Guide and understanding it. It's more informative than the videos and it covers more about concepts, what human really needs and ways to implement the idea.

As RwGlmllhpSX said, it's a form of Communism. Yes it is, and it's the TRUE Communism. Any other form of so-called Communisms in the history or the present are fake. This is because TRUE Communism cannot co-exist with Monetary Economy. No money should every be involved in a real Communism.

Nothing great in human history has ever been achieved without being dismissed in one way or another.

What did people say when someone claimed the world is round?
What did people say when someone said he wanted to fly?
What did people say when someone said he wanted to step on the Moon?

The thing with most people is that, we are too washed up by the cultures and routines in our life that we never pay the slightest attention to the big picture. Yeah, we wake up in the morning, have our breakfast, prepare for work/study, lunch, chit-chat, return home online/watch TV/go mamak/clubbing/shopping/karaoke/cinema, have our bath, then sleep. The lucky ones might get some extras such as going on a trip/vacation/event/function/party, etc... This goes on for how long??? You accept this as a part of your life? Seriously?? We already spend 1/3 of our life sleeping, you want to spend 1/3 of your life learning where to spend your hard-earned money that you work for 1/3 of your life?? We take life too lightly, and we simply took it for granted. If Jigsaw killer really exists, we should be killed by him.

About humans getting lazy...sure it is, but ONLY the people from Monetary Economy, which is ironically, ALL OF US. Yes, most of us will be lazy when the TVP's idea is realized. However, this won't last long. I've done my own survey with a questionnaire among some people and one of my question is this:

"If you are provided food, water, home, clothing and transport FREE FOR LIFE, what will you do?"

Some of the answers that I got:

"I wish to have a country farm and cultivates cows, sheeps, chickens, etc..."
"Operating a sanctuary for stray animals"
"Travel around the world, design clothes for people"

I also asked, "Why not laze around?"

The answers:
"Yeah, laze around is good once in a while, but not for another 50 years which I'm not working!"
"I hate to stay home, it's boring. I'll go out, since it doesn't cost for transportations!!"
"You mean eating a lot, watching TV and get fat?? Of course not!"

My survey actually enlightened me, because nobody is born to be lazy. Everyone wants to do SOMETHING. It's just that we're restrained in the slavery of the monetary economy that made us think that somehow, we need to be lazy, but in reality we are not lazy. There is no such thing as human nature. When we are born to this world, we learn things from our environment, and shape our mentality from the culture surrounding us. Nurture > Nature. Human's behavior is shaped, not born. Genetically, we MIGHT be inclined to something more than another, but it's our ENVIRONMENT that switches on/off that inclination. Why do you think criminals do what they do? Is it because they LOVE it? NO, they are victims of our badly outdated monetary system. In fact, more than 95% of the world's crime is MONETARY CRIME in one way or another. Laws? Police? Those are the by-products of our badly designed system. There is no speed limit to be broken, or road accidents if all transports are made in a way that it's insusceptible to human-error. Why is that millions of people using elevators everyday but the accident rate is almost ignorable compared to those of road accidents? Elevator is also a transport! Why they can't make vehicles more tough? More long-lasting? More safe? Because if they do so, then the automobile industry will be out of business in no time! Why are we still using gas/petrol when vehicles with renewable energy such as solar-powered cars can be commercialized into mainstream? Because gas industry will collapse!

You see, everything in our current world, is actually shaped by the 1% conglomerates, ultra-rich and evil industries that wish to keep things in their way, and their pockets full of cash. They don't give a shit to humanity's well-being. Green Campaign? Recycle Campaign? Campaign my ass. Those are all PR created novels as a form of their so-called 'branding' or 'brand-awareness'. If any company actually pays attention to environmental health, they would stop producing toxic wastes at this very moment. But they can't, why? Money! Money! Money!

We need MONEY just to survive. Then evil Advertisements brainwash the mass into the thinking that they not only need MONEY to survive, but to ENJOY LUXURY such as better cars, bigger house, smarter phones, shinier diamond, prettier clothes, and more 'happening' stuffs. In order to achieve all these, everyone competes against each other to the 'death' (literally). That gives us the world we have today, RUBBISH. Everything is about money, and don't lecture me that money can't buy everything bla bla bla, you CAN. The question is, how much you have and do you know how to use them so you can get anything you want?

If you think that I'm just another fanatic of this organization and I must be crazy, so be it. Watch Alice in Wonderland to what the movie says about crazy people.

I agreed in some way ... But just think dude... Some people are just lazy, if the venus project success, arent those people who are lazy benefit more than the 1 that are working hard for the community.... Why money existed? Its like a double edged sword, without money, we might even trading in barter system... but money also control us sometimes... It makes us work hard to get something we want while we didint realise that what we do is actually very very wrong in the sense that we are being controlled by other people..

I do support zietgiest movement but the way they talk about venus project is way too idealistic and it wont realise even in the next 50 year i think.... So be it...

I know how you felt. I'd have felt the same way too, if I wasn't objective enough to the cause. You see, lazy people only exist in our current system because of the culture and environment we grow up in.

In a resource-based economy world, education isn't the same as our world today. You don't have to study to 'get a job'. Also, since parents don't need to go to work, they have all the time to spend with their children, nurturing them. Children will be educated in the way they like, active children can focus in sports, scientific-inclined children can focus in science, talented children can focus on cultural performance such as music, dance, etc... An adult is lazy because of how he's brought up when he was a kid. In RBE world, creativity is more emerging than necessity.

Just think of it, how many dreams in the world today is crushed or stay a dream just because parents tell their children to 'study well and get a good job'? A 'good job' in our current world is based on 'monetary', whereas a real 'good job' should be what a child really likes and really good at it. Children today is forced to 'study and get a good job' with MONEY as the main reason. Money turns everyone materialistic and condemns those who are idealistic. In fact, the best contributions in the world is not of materialists, but idealists.

Whenever you walk into a shopping center, have you ever counted how many clothes are there? In a supermarket, can you count the amount of food? How many people it can feed? How many people it can dress? However, because of MONEY, they are being rationed and made 'scarce' purposefully when in fact, food, clothes, shelter, water and transportation are ABUNDANT. We don't need year 3000 technology, even today's technology can make them ABUNDANT for everyone in the world. Now thousands of children are dying every single day because they don't have access to food/clothes/shelter (basic needs). People just feel sympathy for them to be born in a poor country... Why a country is poor? Why a country is rich? Who is the 'supreme' being to decide which country is poor or rich? Why do you think countries go to war? Because they like to kill people?? It's for the RESOURCES. It's all about the MONEY. (You can even hear this phrase in a song)...

When a baby is born in this world, he is equal to other babies. However, 'money' decides which baby lives in a poor slum, and which baby lives in a bungalow. Which baby gets school and which doesn't. Which baby gets enough nutrition, and which is malnutritioned. Does the baby really has a choice??

Criminals, people say they are lazy to work and go for the shortcut. It's easy to judge people when you're not in their shoes. Does anyone gives a damn if they have mouths to feed or family to support? Does anyone gives a damn if advertisements and the society praise the rich and condemn the poor? In an RBE world, nobody needs to steal/rob anything because you have everything that you need. You grow up that way, and you will never learn the point to 'steal' or 'rob', because there's nothing to steal or rob.

In a world without money, no girl needs to be a prostitute. No drug lords. No firearm black market. No war. No conmen. No scammers. There's no need for all that, because there is NO MONEY to make. There won't be the need for a country. The Earth is OUR country. We all share the resources and heritage of the Earth, nobody is polluting it or intoxicating it because there won't be 'cost-saving' factories, or 'environmental unfriendly' materials. They exist in our world today because they are cheap, and therefore increase profit. It's MONEY again.

If what I've elaborated sounds too perfect, I can assure you it is NOT PERFECT. People say the idea is too perfect and is not possible. The movement never claims the idea to be perfect. In fact, the world will never be perfect. However, a fact is that the world is in a constant change. And at the rate of how money is destroying the Earth, the world is changing for worse every single day. In an RBE world, there won't be any problem related to MONEY, which as we know it, is responsible for wars, crimes, poverty, pollution, creating different social standards, enslaving human in so-called 'jobs', and uncountable issues to be mentioned. By eliminating MONEY and the need to fight/compete for it, we eliminate a big chunk of problems in the world. Then you may wonder, is there any other problem? Yes. There are still natural disasters, unexplained phenomenons, unexplored land mass/undersea/space, natural diseases, etc. It's not perfect. The point is, we eliminate the majority of the problems that exist today by eliminating money. Then, humanity can focus on preserving the Earth, invention, culture, creativity, knowledge, science and technology. Then and only then we can claim that the humanity is matured and civilized. It's essential for the progress and advancement of humanity as a whole. As long as money and the need for it to exist, human is never free and is bound to this artificial limit until the day the Earth dooms itself with world war and pollution.

Still, there are 2 major factor that make this project seems impossible for now..

1st: politician. they dont even give this thing a f**k.... Just think about how they get money for funding of their campaign during election ( left alone USA, this happen too in Malaysia =D)
2nd: how can we make the whole world discard the monetary system? ( the rich will be against it...)

I personally quite amaze with the project... but the major factor that causes all these phenomenon to happen is still the human greed, selfishness....

Well for me it can happen only in this country, not now as we're only 57 years old but it will in the future. Not in this form I guess but by replacing money with dinar and with full implementation of Islamic banking. Tun tried to pursue this idea but I guess he's ahead of his time.

PS: Can't you guys feel that soon we'll reach collective consciousness? We're still in unconscious state.
PPS: I watched Serial Experiments Lain.

I guess Tabung Haji already took care of Islamic banking.

For me it's the basis for the creation of the Islamic Civilization here. We're all moderates in Malaysia so Dinar and Dirham are not yet ready to be unveiled.
