anyone know what's the response time and refresh rate for this Sony Bravia KLV-40BX400, planned to use it mainly for PC Gaming, FPS genre, hope it's quite fast and can provide smooth movement required to aim precisely at instant. Can't find any website mentioning these important infos at tech spec.
also, does the lcd suffer from color banding ? I read 10 bit LCD panel should get rid of color banding, which is good, hope it's stuffed with 10 bit oledi.
-edit-
one more thing, how Bravia Engine 3 handles SD input such as Nintendo Wii ? can it eliminate jaggies well, or am I expecting too much lol

response time: do not know.
refresh rate: 50Hz
If you're hoping for fast and smooth movement, then you'll be dissapointed. Generally, computer monitors has better response time and refresh rate than TVs.
During BE2 days, there are basically two types of Bravia Engine, one is the Bravi Engine 2 and another is Bravia Engine 2 Pro. The advantage of BE2 Pro is that it comes with HD upscale capability which automatically upscales DVD video into near Full HD quality. This is the reason why a mere 40 inch X450 costs RM 13,000 back then. This "Pro" edition doesn't make a debut yet in any of the BE3 line up so far.
