Guy I totally agree with you. We should be getting what we pay for and not some cheap or non existing tweeter or spec. I don't mind low quality products, just make sure the price is also very low. SG should be black listed when they charge premium when they only give sub standard product!!!!! (its like a con job guys!) That said I just wanted to say I purchase this Creative I-Trigue 2300 (was a display set) for just only RM100.00 the other day. I took it apart the other day just to see what was inside (before I saw this tread so sorry no picts) and was very happy that inside all four speakers were from Cambridge Soundworks. It even has serial numbers and all (sometimes u just have to love em Brits). Sound wise, it doesn't have great bass (no woofer ma) but mids and highs are reproduce well. Sounds better than the RM100 I paid for it. Just though I share (maybe the next time I take it apart I will post the internal picts) .

QUOTE(musica22 @ May 23 2011, 10:41 PM) my opinion is because of the vibration this loose components causes when sound is produced out/from within the speaker it'll become abnormal noise and its annoying, you wont enjoy your music but there might be other purpose, although electrical components usually they will use hotmelt Yes I agree. The amount of vibration inside a sub-woofer is great therefor if all the components are not secure, soon they will become loose.
