I never liked the SG name, the looks and the sound is bad.

yes, AL speakers didnt live up to my expectation, my friends old altecs are so much better.

mny friend has an old ATP3, never had a chance to audit it, maybe this CNY i might try... bring some flac on the pendrive and my psc805 over.. wahahaha...

If your speaker got humming plz check all your cable connected properly or not, if you got spare speaker, try to check if the humming is come from your pc or maybe your house power is dirty and need to use power conditioner like belkin.
