Funny how absence makes the heart fonder... not the first time i've seen in the comments about how much we miss Sissoko. Well, afaik Sissoko wasn't able to pass (not even backwards, which Lucas does very well
As for Plessis, it's been ages since we've seen the lad. And I do trust Rafa to the extend that if he's not getting game time, then he really isn't any better than Lucas. Lucas, despite not exactly being first team material is still a decent squad player at the moment, and will improve in time. So will Plessis, but if he's gonna rot in the reserves (and he IS only a year younger than Lucas iirc) then he is better off elsewhere. Perhaps he will then flourish like Sissoko. p.s. Like someone already mentioned, training and selling off academy players IS a good way to increase revenue. Not good enough for Liverpool hardly means not good enough for lesser clubs. p.s. I do hope that Babel stays though, no one turns into a lemon overnight. This post has been edited by madmoz: Jan 26 2010, 01:02 PM |

like our own left winger from the academy, paul anderson, who most likely will make a return to the PL with forest next season.
then everyone will curse rafa again when anderson rapes kuyt's ass down that flank |

I do hope that Babel stays though, no one turns into a lemon overnight. As for Plessis, the way he went missing without a trace showed how much he's lagging behind others. Will he flourished like Alou Diarra (the guy forced his way into French team reckoning after leaving us) or sink like Cheyrou remain to be seen. Btw Momo STILL can't pass that well, runs like headless chicken, had zero understanding and reading of the game and was pretty reckless in tackles too. I too like Babel to stay, that boy potential is just too great....maybe handing him sugar will do the trick |
