bigger car with bigger space and comfort driving as I always travel around. My sentra already travel whole Peninsular Malaysia. So far already drive 170k km in 5 years, no major repair .

The only thing I still considering of Sylphy is no Traction Control, heard it has weak Body Rolling and pick up is not as good as Altis 1.8. I never test drive Sylphy yet.

oh is it?

but there's still plenty around the 2nd hand shop, thought it will not trouble so much for spare parts.

Are you sure there's still plenty of B14 parts in halfcut shop? Go check again... Ask for B14's radiator reserve tank, see if they can find one for you...

The Sylphy's suspension is tuned for comfort, so there's definitely body roll when making aggressive maneuvers...

Are you sure Sylphy's pick up is not as good as Altis 1.8? From my experience with the Sylphy, it has a lot of low-end grunt, which is good for overtaking maneuvers...

thanks vanquish, my view on the sunny, lol

Had a fast chase down the roads. A BMW 318i E46 (1.8 litres) started chasing me on parts of the freeway and I smoked his ass, right after I exited the tolls, from Gopeng to Kampar. I leaved him way way behind. Proof an underpowered Japanese tin, Nissan/Datsun 130Y Sunny (1.3 litres) can be driven fast and driver's too dependent on drivers aid can be dumbed down. Hail almight oldschool

That's surprising... blink.gif Perhaps the 318i didn't have the balls to go too fast?

I once tried to chase a E46 318i with my Sentra (with SR16VE engine, 172HP), my car can definitely keep up with the 318i without much effort but lose out in top speed because I haven't bypass the speed limiter in my engine... biggrin.gif

yeah well im from kampar, lol! and he was in my territory, i did many daring overtaking connections and cornered that tin around 110kmh on a fast S curve bend, lol.

i knew my overtaking spots, after experiencing it with other faster cars. driving a slow car when uve already driven a faster one makes u know what u could do with it, lol. only complain was no power steering, god painful!

Added on October 14, 2010, 1:06 pmits between here and here, ive left him for good in the 5 pm rush hour home time biggrin.gif

Ah, yes... Familiarity is always an advantage... nod.gif

Yeah, I've driven a 130Y before, the manual steering really quite a "handful"... sweat.gif

i hope when my oldschool honda is ready, i dont have to deal with this, hopefully its as nimble as a kancil considering its only 720kgs.

what a pain, but yeah, i bet it pwned those owners good who paid over 100k to buy a car. same with the toyota altis 1.8 previous gen who ate my smoke pretty bad when i connected my overtaking and left him for good. i was just at the right pace at the right time, its kinda like a green light for every turn of move

Yeah, that's the saving grace of a manual steering... But not all manual steerings have good road feedback though...

1st honda car, thats more like it, hahah

1965 Honda S600. Just getting in love with J-tins. You should join www.japanesenostalgiccar.com and check those hot tins out

http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/hon...honda-s600.html

i had a saga 1.5 Automatic a while ago, i could feel that old cars can corner better due to less excess weight and less sudden shift of weight.

Something I am missing out in modern cars.
