Alright guys, version 2!
time to flood the thread with pictures again! no one to replace my skodeng stint  edit, miss denso found out i post pics of hers  here's something to replace that pic! although its not taken by iphone, but still its iphone related   standard rules still apply, pictures taken with iphone only, 2g, 3G, 3Gs, we welcome all! I took this shot during my trip to Chiang Rai, Thailand, end of last year. Was walking in the night market and passed by a grill meat stall, look carefully in to the photo, you might see something funny ^^, I guess....

I3gs. alot of factors contribute to the lousy pic.
1st scratched lense, 2nd Zoomed shot 3rd 3rd party app to bump up the low light condition. Which is why the noise level is noticeable Another shot of my car bumper knocked off by a irresponsible auntie.  |

Played around with effects and i ended up with this shot, can call it "into the light". Was at the F1 race on sunday, but pics taken not so great. Guess i needed to be nearer to the track |

i found this one apps call 'hd camera' at apps store..it say that it can make ur picture become 7 megapixel.. yeahh i can see the different..but not so much different la..it process very slow..but it is still good application to take a better picture.. Standard iphone 2g camera

Calling for iPhone 4 user, I need u to take some test, Try to shoot a white paper with low light at the surrounding And off iPhone flash too, see is there any "light blueish haze" appear in the centre? Here's the sample (took by my 1 day old iPhone 4 ) So far I found 3 out of my fren whose iPhone 4 have the same problem (Maxis & Digi set) How about u guys?? Thanks You very much! Cheers |

First thing is, HDR does not necessarily mean you will get the best shot every time. It essentially takes 2 photographs rapidly, underexposed and over exposed, then blends them to create a third picture. From what I've taken so far, the best shots with HDR are outdoor shots, with skies as the subject that benefits the most from this tech. These are resized photos, otherwise unedited, taken by me. Exhibit A : without HDR :  with HDR :  Exhibit B : Some shots are best left alone with the original shots, with colours appearing warmer/richer in its original form, and the HDR shots looking 'drained' of colours. When colours are generally already rich in spectrum, adding HDR isn't necessarily the best option. without HDR :  with HDR :  Exhibit C : When lighting conditions are generally poor, HDR helps to bring out the details hidden in shadows. without HDR:  with HDR:  This post has been edited by slickz: Oct 11 2010, 10:11 PM |

Macro shots are quite hard to pull off, I had to put my hand in front of the camera, let it focus on that, then pull out quickly to grab this shot. Tap to focus was too close for this to work.

Hey guys, I'd like to ask is it possible to take a picture effect like this with just the normal Camera app provided with the phone?
 What is this technique called? (With one of the character being blurred while the other one can be seen perfectly) If the original Camera prog of the iPhone can't do effects like this.. are there any apps out there in the appstore that can? How/where did u guys get the apps like tiltshift.gen, instagram, hipstamatic and others? And how to do the bokeh thingy someone did earlier? Pls guide me~ Im a new IP user. |

Tried out this new app called Pano on my IP4. Not sure how good is the other panoramic app is, but for me this one is awesome and probably just gonna stick with it.

IMHO, if you're taking photo under normal lighting, you do not need HDRif you're taking photo when there are certain parts of the photo is greatly affected by lighting, i.e serious illumination at the object background, you should use HDR Since HDR blends the best parts of three seperated exposures into a single photo, thus the colors will be somehow washed-out, but it can deal with over-illuminated problem nicely just my 2 cents |

hey just downloaded and tried Pano. i would say that its equally as useful and effective as AutoStitch. i have been using AutoStitch all this while, but now will switch between that and Pano for my panoroma photos.

  using Pano - you can see the first picture the sky got screwed. mm one thing i like abt Pano is that the single images it takes to create the pano picture is not saved into your photo album, only the long pano. |

Can anyone give some tips on how to take good pictures using iP4 especially in low light areas? My pictures always turn out grainy when viewed on PC, but it looks ok if viewed on the phone itself. When I use Flash with the default camera, my pictures became too "white" and can see the flash light on the picture.
Ive installed the apps Night Camera but the quality isnt any better. |

Those of you using Camera+, how do you get the photos into ur PC? I can see my photos taken with Camera+ in the Camera Roll but when I open that folder in my PC, I cannot see that photo.
