Hey guys, I'd like to ask is it possible to take a picture effect like this with just the normal Camera app provided with the phone?

user posted image

What is this technique called? (With one of the character being blurred while the other one can be seen perfectly)
If the original Camera prog of the iPhone can't do effects like this.. are there any apps out there in the appstore that can?
Sorry for the questions.. really not into photography and stuff but am really interested to learn smile.gif

Hi guys, anyone know what are the best photography apps out there (needing to pay is fine) for the iPhone?
I'm looking for something that can do effects like this as well as other cool effects.

The original camera app can do it, but with less quality, coz lots of noise

Tips to achieve: play around with the focusing of the camera..

Wonder if there's any apps for the camera that is more powerful with bokehs...

its called back focusing and u need to just focus to the back subject instead of focusing to the front subject. No need to use special apps for this shoot

its called bokeh. its hard to do with normal point and shoot / handphone camera, u need large aperture lens to create nice bokeh. u can however emulate the effect using photoshop.
for app, the closest ive seen is the miniature effect in camera plus. but it emulate tilt - shift lens, not bokeh.
