@jags. i get the knocking sound too. but its just one knock. only when i'm reversing and i brake, the knock will come. lol duno if its same as yours. i've yet to find out what it is but it isnt really bothering me


Added on March 23, 2010, 5:36 pmlooks like alot of ppl are hot for the ecu reprogramming/reflashing. i'll do it when my car is almost due for service =D since elton recommends that. still got about 4k km to go -.-

just wondering. how much would it cost to skim disc rotors? my mech said about rm100 for front both sides. is that the normal price?

cant stand other (waja, sadly) drivers, who try to "compete" with me on the highways. rushing for time already still need to be faced with all these nonsense. grr.

one thing for sure though was cutting him from the left, cockstare, and let him eat smoke.

sorry really cannot tahan gotta rant it out somewhere. hope it wasnt any of our LYN members! notworthy.gif

speaking of brakes. anyone here using bendix metal king titanium? i've read that bosch powerplus isnt too bad either. gotta change soon my indicators are squeaking already.

from what i gather, bendix doenst require bedding in the brakes. how about bosch?

i see. yeah ppl told me that bendix will bite the discs faster too. so i'm assuming that the 50 bucks difference between bosch and bendix, bendix would bite alot more than bosch?

between years 03-06 got a few models. first is mitsu 4g18 engine. then theres the 1.8 variant which you should stay away from because of many problems. then in 06 the campro came out.

if you want full specs u'll have to look for a 1.6X waja. these come with abs, airbags, leather interior, bigger rims etc. 1.6X is also using 4g18 engine btw.

many ppl here will advise you to get the 4g18(no offence, fellow campro-ers tongue.gif) since it has better low end torque and better fc. but the campro isnt that bad either. just that it might be a real fuel drinker if you drive around the city alot. smile.gif good luck hunting.

haha just skimmed disc rotor, changed brake pads. and flushed brake fluid. fuuuh now bite kao kao. always ter lock the brakes cos now the pedal damn sensitive. haha! those ceremic pads really worth the money. thumbup.gif
