1. Whats your goal?
2. Find a routine (would suggest u to go for basic strength workout)
be it rippetoe, or stronglift... wateva it is, just stick to more compound
3. Watch your diet
4. Lift hard
5. Rest a lot

i remember someone did reply ur question by pointing out that ur 5kg Dumbbell curls are just not heavy enough.

your goal is like any of ours , except my target is Taylor Lautner. I'm following this Stronglift 5x5 routine. Squat, Deadlifts, Bench Press, Overhead Press or Olympic Jerk. After i do 4 of these, i'll go in stuffs like Barbell Rows for my back, 100 sit ups or 100 captain chairs for my abs , and 20 mins of Cardio (u need to kick out those excessive fat on ur tummy to show off ur abs, if u have any ).

And since u and i are just starting out , its best for us to get personal trainer , or u can hire any of the experienced forummer here to point u out. FIxing your postures for squat, deadlifts etc are very important as u go heavier means higher chance of injury.

Diet wise , keep to high protein low carbs, 1 gallon of water per day. Consume Whey protein if u want.

Rest hard.

Here's a few links that i read and get inspiration from biggrin.gif

check the link-o-rama, there are plenty more there. I hope it helps, since we're on the same boat
