BAC offers an alternate route to UOL external.

A very good example is,

If u fail your UOL external in BAC, and you planned to change to UKT , they will allow you to sit for examination (of course you need to pay) , if you pass that exam then you are still eligible to continue your journey.

Else, if you fail in ATC , they do not have the alternate route for you which you must resit paper again in next year together with your passed subject.

This is the rigidity of UOL External. They don't give compassion.

But what I think BAC is really like a family style of management whereby you can know all the persons in charge, you can even tap on their shoulder saying 'wassup bro' to the lecturers and even the principals are friendly to joke with you.

ATC is more like a typical company, students could not get a chance to really connect to the staffs etc. Furthermore there are rules to be complied such as you must attend the tutorials and lectures else if you do not attend for more than few times, they will give a call to your parents.
They treat you like a kid, of course its for your own good.

In the end, it depends on which style you like..for me, I prefer family style cos you can really feel the genuine interest from the staffs and lecturers.
