Oyy, the "already have failed" wasn't referring to you. It was towards my chicken-shit school mates. You can imagine the many reunions we had and see where all of us end up as. Safe to say, resentments are too late at that point.

Okay, maybe not a fap, it fellates itself. Which is equally weird no matter how you see it. rclxub.gif

so, what happened to your school mates?
did they end up like you expect them to? or the total opposite?
did that super smart guy end up being a super rich famous person etc?
*
The super smart guy is nowhere to be seen, he's smart enough to leave this country when he can. Working with Intel in Silicon Valley now. The conservative ones were the ones whining and complaining about now enough salary and too much work and how routine their work is.

How bout the super pretty girl that everyone admired? Is she still as pretty and with a super handsome guy?
The conservative ones are those who failed before doing anything isn't it? What are they doing now? Gov servant? Low-ranking officers? Business man?
*
I'm Johannian, ex-SJI, all boys school. The "super pretty" girls would be from CBN, Convent Bukit Nanas. Depending on which clique you're in, you'd have different classification of what "super pretty" is. tongue.gif My own crush from CBN, lost contact with her after we shared the same classes during tuition for SPM. Tried to look her up ala "There's Something About Mary" movie, she's happily married with children now.

The conservative ones are lecturers, and yeah, those in the government sector. The "90210" kinds are now lawyers and business-man alright, probably of their connections and wider circle of peers.

Yup, I'm lucky enough to be in the same class with him for 3 years. Why lucky, you ask? Here's the story.

My point here is, LSY's genius and brilliance kept all 5 of us on the ball. Kept us sharp, and challenge us to better ourselves so that we can aspire to, if not beat him, at least match him in his brilliance. Friends like these are the one you wanna keep, because they keep the drive going. Otherwise, you're stuck in a rut, and the circle of friends that you surrounds yourselves with, whether you realise it or not, may subconsciously influence how you view things in life, or keep yourself driven or not.

^^ Just pick your friends carefully. That decision may shape your outlook in life and how you view life. Having good habits and drive to start with early in life may turn out to be the edge you need to keep yourself ahead of the others.

Ripe time to do so, my friend. You're at the age I was (assuming 95 is your birth year) where I know these driven people.

For everyone elses' info, we don't lock ourselves in and study all the time either. We do crazy things too. Curi2 read Electronic Gaming Monthly at mamak's magazine stand at S&M and Sungei Wang to learn how to do Street Fighter 2 moves at the arcades,(which incidentally is illegal to enter under age tongue.gif), pranking each other at the Scout's Den *peeking the girls changing after PE, the Scout's Den and the forest trail in Hutan Lipur Bukit Bintang behind the Den allows an elevated view of this tongue.gif*, and our own excursion to Tanah Rata and Cameron Highlands.

Talking about pranks, anyone kena pranked with toothpaste on eyelids and lips before?

The Tanah Rata incident in our case. laugh.gif One of us had such a "loud" case of snoring and sleep apnea, that none of us can sleep that night. *we're at a B&B, sharing communal bedroom.* The only "polite" thing to do in this situation, is to slather the guy's eyelids with Colgate so that he wakes up with stinging eyes the next morning. tongue.gif And extra paste on his lips so that he keeps his snoring-wide mouth clean the morning he wakes up. laugh.gif

Be advised, that it was an observation, not something that I took into heart anyway. Just saying. Too busy with life to care really.

The only way to deal with incompetent people is to deal with them yourself. Push and prod until they own up to their mistake, and push your case to the higher-ups, enough for the case to take up visibility by the higher management, that they themselves now will have to personally supervise and rectify the incompetences of the stupid placeholders below them.

I dont like pushing people like this, but when it comes to Malaysians and their blatant stupidity and blur-sotongness, it had to be done.

Looks like the case is not isolated to Malaysians only, evil! Only more apparent here, because people are either meek, or scared, or lazy to fight for their rights.
