There's no need to count calories. You can eat as much as you want without getting fat, just minus the carbs. Excessive dietary protein and fat can't be stored in the body. They will be excreted out. No point counting calories because it doesn't work. You need a calculator to count calories but there is no calculator inside our body. How do you expect our body to calculate calories without a calculator? Our body recognizes food as nutrients not calories. Macro nutrients such as protein and carbs are involved in stimulation of certain hormones which will trigger the storage of fat and utilization of fat as energy.

By eating the right ratio of macro nutrients will help you to lose fats, gain quality muscles or maintaining your ideal body fat levels.

Look up acylation-stimulation protein.
If our body don't recognize calories, then where do we get the energy to live?

thanks bata for such a wonderful site. if i dindn't ask, i think i will never know of this valuable site.

now at least i know some of the food calories and should just take half of it rather than skipping it as when we get really hungry, we really hunt down this food like a swine as we miss them for too long.

My longest may not be like some of you which is counting by the number of days but by hours due to working hours and hate cooking.

so i just like to thank those who helps me out here.

What I do?

My total caloric intake on a diet is about 2000 cals

Just fast through out the day and grind thru the hunger.
Unless I work out, then I break my fast prior to going to the gym I like milk so this is the one of the best solutions i've came up with.
400ML pre and 600 ML post workout - so 1 liter of HL white milk = 500 calories and 50 grams of protein.

After which I'll just have fun eating my hearts outs - i have 1500 calories to splurge, which is a lot of food actually unless you're going drinking.
